…have a vacation! :) Let’s just say that some time off has been much needed since I went on holiday 3 years ago (wow, time REALLY flies!). This year, I’m going back to Brazil, but this time I’m not alone. My husband and I are finally having our honeymoon (and again: time flies – we’ve almost been married for one year in September, isn’t this crazy?), he’ll get to know my Brazilian family and the beautiful city of Rio de Janeiro. I’m really thrilled and can’t wait to start this little adventure. It’s a lot of first times: our first flight together (unbelievable that we haven’t done this before!), our first vacation together ever (even more unbelievable, right?) and our first year as a married couple in a few days (not unbelievable but still crazy – and the best thing ever!).

My parents are so kind to take care of everything, including my baby boy Rico (gosh, I’ll miss my cat so much – every minute without him breaks my heart, but as I know that he’s in good hands, I guess I’ll have to let go and let my mother spoil him with lots of snacks and cuddles) – thank you so much, I know you’re reading this! ♥

Of course, I’m not leaving you, my dear readers, without having planned what’s happening on my blog during this time. I prepared a few posts for this time, but as I’m not sure if I’ll be able to get online in Brazil (at least, I hope that there won’t be any problems doing small stuff, but I don’t want to spend all my spare time in front of my laptop), I’ll be going down to one post per week instead of four. And if everything goes right, I’ll try to leave some “Postcards from Brazil”, some live updates, from time to time.

So: vacay mode on and off we go! See you again next month, everyone!

I really enjoy mixing different styles – especially when I can bring in some sexy lingerie like this playsuit from Agent Provocateur. Normally, that’s definitely a piece for the bedroom, but I think it’s way too cool to only be left at home, hidden in a pink box most of the time. So I thought about how to integrate it into an outfit without looking as naughty as AP’s actual plan. ;)

You already know how much I love a comfy jumpsuit – I bought this one from H&M+ a bit larger (2XL) for a very loose fit and it turned out perfectly for this little style mix. It’s been some time since I last wore a hat (and we are back…), so I had to take it out of my closet and put it right on my head. With some black and gold jewelry and mules, this was a great outfit for a relaxed summer afternoon – but still with this “sexy as hell” feeling thanks to the playsuit. ;)

I guess nail art got me at last. At the moment, I’m in the mood for creating something a little more special on my nails and this is the result of my last mani – a colored “French” mani, but very subtle thanks to different shades of orange. I went for an almost red orange and a brighter one, and I’m pretty sure you don’t need a “how to”, but just in case:

1 • Apply one coat of your favorite base coat (essie “Millionails”).
2 • Apply two coats of the darker color (
Givenchy Le Vernis “Croisière Mat Orange”).
3 • Apply the lighter color to your nail tips (
ANNY “Summertime”).
4 • Apply one coat of your favorite top coat (
essie “Good To Go”).

Hello Diva! :) Just making fun, this hat kind of brings out the diva in me, but the whole look is somehow cruise-chic, right? ;) Unfortunately, this spot has nothing to do with a glamorous cruise through the Caribbean but some ice-cold water in a park. With bad lighting so you can see my crater-cellulite thighs. But even though I’m mentioning them and some might think that I do so because I feel bad about them, it’s more because I want to say: it’s okay. My skin down there is not perfect. My thighs are huge, and so are my hips and my butt – it’s kind of a family problem and not that easy to just get rid of through exercise. I’ve got some bad lipedema and to be honest: I don’t like it. Yes, there’s something about my body that I don’t like – this doesn’t mean that I’m not “body positive” anymore. Of course I love myself, I even love my legs even though they’re not the most beautiful part about me (plus, again: the lighting is so not flattering!). I’m allowed to find some imperfections and not feel good about them.
But: is this a reason to hide them? I won’t jump into the water wearing long pants. Definitely not. For some, my thighs may be disgusting, others may think that I’m brave because I’m even posting pictures of me showing them, others may not even notice my cellulite – maybe because I’m still confident about my body. It’s okay to have some flaws. I’ve accepted my legs and I’m fine with them.
And that’s why I’ll now stop talking about them and change the topic to this gorgeous bikini: it’s a freestyle thing as the top is from Agent Provocateur and the bottoms from H&M+. I knew I’d never fit into the actual bottoms from Agent Provocateur, so I came up with the idea to do some black and white combo and this is it. Black high-waist pants plus a very special white top (I love it so much!). Add the cruise chic with a huge striped hat and a sheer kimono for even more glam and you’re good to go – for a real cruise or just some splish-splash fun at the park. Feel free to wear whatever you want, whenever you want. :*
