Before flying to Brazil, I attended an event in Florence. The presentation of Christina Aguilera’s new fragrance → “Touch of Seduction”, among other things inspired by Italian velvet, took place at the hotel “Il Salviatino”, a gorgeous luxurious hotel up the hills of Florence. I had the chance to spend one night there and enjoy not only the amazing view from there (you can spot the dome from the hotel’s terrace), but also the sunniest and best weather ever. Of course, I took some pictures to share some impressions with you in my “One Night in…” category – to be honest, I wish I could take a plane right now and stay there again…
Every room looks different – we (my German blogger crew: Sarah, Paddy, Nadine and Daniel) made a little tour through our rooms to see how they’re styled and it was absolutely amazing! If you ever have the chance, you should book one of the Greenhouse suites!
I also enjoyed the bed and slept sooo well, nestled in handmade Tuscan linen! ;) And of course: the pool. On a hot day, there’s nothing better than refreshing oneself in the pool. We didn’t have much time, though, but it was the best thing we could do – except for the Italian ice cream we had on the next day in the city. ;)
By the way: I’ve never been the biggest fan of Christina’s fragrances – to be honest, they were all way too intense and sweet for me. But the whole rose and velvet theme made me curious and the surprise was very positive. Of all the nine (!) fragrances, this is the first one that I really like. It’s still very intense and sweet but in a good and seductive way – just as intended. It contains delicious notes like sugared rose petals, litchi and sandalwood. It’s a very warm and balmy scent, very feminine and sensual and great for the evening and the current fall season. To intensify the fragrance, you can add the matching body lotion, shower gel and deodorant.
