Since all beauty topics are definitely coming up short, I thought it was about time I shared a fall look with you (before the whole outfit goes online). Of course, I’ll talk a bit about the products I used too. ;)

I used two of → Givenchy’s “Vinyl” fall collection pieces, the “Metallic Reflection” palette * and the “Rouge Intense” lipstick *, and added a few Givenchy face products for a straight line through the look. It’s all about mixing pink and purple tones with bright red and shiny vinyl black. I kind of forgot that I got such an eye liner, so I used my → all-time favorite from Rouge Bunny Rouge, but Givenchy also offers a great → vinyl liner in their collection.

For the face, I used a new base which I really like, Bobbi Brown’s → “SPF50 Protective Face Base” – of course, the sun protection factor isn’t that necessary in fall/winter, but with my fair skin it’s never a bad choice. I actually wanted to take this base with me to Brazil, but it wasn’t launched in time and even the duty free shops didn’t have it, so now, after summer, I can finally use it. Anyways, this is a great base, it holds the make-up in place and makes everything long-lasting. Of course, you can also use Givenchy’s make-up bases → “Mister Mat” or → “Actimine”, if you want to achieve an “All Givenchy” look. ;)

I used one of my favorite foundations, the “TEINT Couture” → fluid foundation and the matching → powder foundation on top for a mattified but still glowy look. Plus, I retouched any imperfections – like the sleepy dark circles under my eyes – with my favorite light concealer, Bobbi Brown’s → “Tinted Eye Brightener”.
I contoured my face with the Le Prisme Mat powder in → “Amber Organza” – in fall, it’s still time to wear a sunny bronzed look of the last months, so there’s nothing wrong with a little bit of bronzer during the cold and mostly dark seasons. ;) I like to apply it under my cheek bones and on the temples, on the sides of my nose and its tip and a little bit on my chin and the jaw bone line.
Highlighting is my favorite part of any make-up look. I’m pretty sad that my favorite highlighter, “High Beam White” from Shiseido, isn’t available in Germany anymore. Maybe you can still get it anywhere around the world, I can highly recommend that you guys look for it as it is just perfect! I apply it under my eyes and over the cheeks, on the nose, over and under my lips and on my forehead.

After applying my favorite eye shadow base (Benefit’s → “Stay don’t Stray” – I’ve been using it for years), it was finally time to play with the gorgeous “Metallic Reflection” palette. It contains a beautiful satin-like shimmering dark eggplant, a metallic sparkling lilac-purple, a sparkling reddish pink and a light pink for highlights. All colors are very intense and you won’t need much product for an opaque finish on your lids. There’s only little glitter fallout and the shimmering is just perfect for a beautiful purple fall make-up look.

I used the purple tone on my lids, enhanced the outer corners and the crease with the dark eggplant, put on some highlighting light pink in the inner corners of my eye and created a pink highlight spot with the shimmering pink in the middle of my lid for a 3D look.

I enhanced my lower waterline with a → waterproof purple khol and of course I put on some black eye liner. As I already mentioned, I didn’t use a vinyl look liner, which would actually be perfect for the collection look, but you can always do your own interpretation, right? :)
Instead of the vinyl look, I just had the idea to play around with colored mascara, so I first applied a → black one and then topped it with a bit of a red purple and lilac colored mascara of two old collections.

I went for a slight touch of pink on my cheeks, using my favorite blush from Tom Ford in → “Wicked”, it’s a great color! Givenchy has two gel blushes in the “Vinyl” collection, so if you prefer that kind of blush, feel free to get them → here.

For the right finish and a kind of color blocking, Givenchy came up with two different red tones for their great “Le Rouge” lipsticks. I used → “Rouge Intense”, a bright red that probably suits every skin color (no tinge of orange or blue). And voilá: that’s my interpretation of Givenchy’s “Vinyl” look. :)

By the way: isn’t the packaging of the palette wonderful? It goes from a mirror-like silver to black suede, a great match for the leather-covered “Le Rouge” lipsticks! :)
