• 15 Favorites in 2015 •

I know how much everyone loves “favorites posts” – I actually love them too, so I decided to do a special version of them. Today I’ll talk about my 15 favorites in 2015, coming from beauty, fashion and totally random – things that accompanied me through the year, things with a story and things that were and still are just great…

Giorgio Armani Crema Nuda “#1 Nude Glow” *
I didn’t post a review about this little wonder, but I can promise you all that this is the → best foundation EVER. There’s no beauty product that made me fall in love like this. I’m actually so scared that it could be discontinued one day that I’m already thinking about buying another one so I have one in stock for hard times. ;)

Helena Rubinstein “Lash Queen Perfect Blacks” *
Mascara is always a matter of taste and what looks good on me could look pretty bad on you (or even better!) – my lashes aren’t an easy task but → this mascara made me very happy!

Serge Lutens “Nuit de cellophane” *
Fragrances by Serge Lutens are very special, it’s not easy to describe them – maybe that’s why there’s no review up yet. But I’ll try to change that soon! Until then, all I can say is that this was → my everyday fragrance this year. Even though I wrote about a few other perfumes and I loved them all, this one was always around. It’s very feminine and kind of fragile (just like cellophane), very floral and just beautiful.

Givenchy Le Prisme Visage “Color Confetti” [LE] *
This powder is a true highlight – it’s from this year’s spring collection and I’ve been using it a lot (you don’t want to see how it looks inside the box). I really, really hope that Givenchy will make this powder permanent or maybe repromote it in an upcoming collection so I can buy another one. It’s perfect!

Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum
This → serum is EVERYTHING – it’s part of my → daily skin care routine and I can recommend it to everyone. I love it so much that I even bought the special 100 ml duty-free edition and there’s already ⅓ missing.

Rouge Bunny Rouge Glassy Gloss “Fleur Parfait” *
It’s pretty hard to choose only one lipstick or gloss for the whole year. But I kind of had a Rouge Bunny Rouge revival this year and used the brand a lot. Especially after the relaunch of their glosses, I fell in love with this nude color. I wore it very often, even took it with me to Brazil and I’m already the happy owner of a backup. :)

Gucci “Soho” Leather Chain Shoulder Bag
One of the best buys of the year – this little black bag was a great choice and perfect for many occasions, that’s why it’s my bag of the year. You can wear it as a shoulder bag, crossbody, shorten the shoulder strap or even hide it in the bag and wear it as a clutch – extremely versatile!

Dior “So Real” Sunglasses
Gosh, I’m mad about sunglasses! The fancier they are, the more I want them and actually buy them (talking about those crazy shades from Dolce & Gabbana). But there’s this one pair that’s always in my bag – the → “So Real” sunnies from Dior. They’re my all-time favorites and I just can’t stop wearing them! So happy that I got them when they came out because they’re almost always sold out now. But you can now create your own “So Real” at Dior online, so maybe that’s also an option…

Arezzo Sandals
Even though I probably got shoes which I love even more (like my YSL “Tribute” sandals, I’m sorry!), these were the shoes that accompanied me a lot this year. They even were on the catwalk, flew with me to Brazil and were part of many outfits. Even though they’re already pretty old (I got them from a friend, so they’re even second hand), they are such a great basic choice and very comfy. I love them!

Dior “Mise en Dior” Tribal Earrings
I guess there’s no jewelry piece that’s more awesome. As you can see, by now I already own five pairs and I’m thinking about getting a sixth one before Dior stops producing them (since Raf Simmons is no longer Creative Director at Dior, I’m kind of worried about this…) – I just have to choose and that’s really not that easy because all of them are gorgeous! By the way: the ones I probably wore most this year is the silver-black-marble version, they really paid off (since they were the priciest model)…

Outfit(s)
Yeah, there should actually only be one favorite, but there were so many great looks this year and different themes – so instead of choosing only one outfit, here are my three favorites: favorite chic look (→ All White), favorite beach look (→ Kimono) and favorite favorite look (→ What if…). ;)

Grand Theft Auto V
Well, even though I’m a real fashion girl, I truly love being a bad girl in Los Santos. That’s → my favorite PS3 game ever!

Jana Seelig “Minusgefühle”
That one’s for my German readers – one of my fellow bloggers who I’ve known for a looong time has written a book about her depression. It’s a very important topic and almost nobody knows that this is something I’ve been dealing with for a long time. It felt good to read about how somebody else feels with this illness and I found many parallels, even though I never did drugs or drank a lot. But I guess on the inside we’re the same, and I recommend that everyone who’s depressive (not depressed!) read this book. And even if you’re not, this might help you understand “us”.

Blog post – “Five things I can’t read, hear or see anymore – Plus Size Edition”
My → favorite blog post of the year is a small rant about what I really hate about plus size, things that totally annoy me – and obviously a lot of you too! It’s one of the most-read posts of the year.

#lugoesbrasil2015
The best thing ever this year was → our trip to Brazil. First time traveling with my husband! We had a sensational time in Rio de Janeiro, visiting my family, seeing new places (including my short one-day trip to São Paulo for → the most amazing fashion collection ever!), eating the best food and getting horribly sunburned on the most fabulous beach day (yeah, you always have to pay somehow…). I really hope that we can repeat this very soon! And can’t wait to know which places I’ll see next year, hopefully something new! :)
