It’s really disappointing when brands remove products from their range – or when your favorites are only limited editions. That’s why today, I want to write about the discontinued favorites I want back, because they are amazing and should be available for everyone (and forever!).

Givenchy “Brume Bonne Mine” (Croisière Collection 2015)

The bronzer powder spray is one of my favorites of last year. I loved using it during summer to contour my face, and while it’s very practical to use, it also has the perfect color and lasts all day. So it’s not only a fun product but also very good and I’d love to ask Givenchy to bring it back – at least in the next Croisière Collection.

Dior “J’adore L’Eau Cologne Florale”
Review

I’m a huge fan of the “J’adore” fragrances and already own a few of them. My absolute favorite is the “L’Eau”, a floral and light version of Dior’s classic, and I love to wear it in spring and summer. But I have to be sparing with it because, unfortunately, it was discontinued and has not come back since (it came out in 2009). I really hope that Dior will bring it back at least for a limited time so I can get a backup of it (gimme the biggest bottle, please!) and wear it for the rest of my life. Yup, it’s really a favorite!

Giorgio Armani Maestro Eye Shadow “#29”

This is the first and only eye shadow in my collection to hit the pan. It’s the most beautiful nude and a delicately shimmering color, perfect for a full eye make-up or highlights (even on your cheek bones, it’s so versatile!) and I really, really love it. Luckily, I got a backup of it shortly after it was discontinued and the whole “Maestro” line got a new look and name (now “Eyes To Kill Solo”) and completely new colors. Actually, I don’t think that there’s a chance to ever get this color back, but it has to be mentioned!

Givenchy Rouge Interdit Shine “Rose Sensation” (“Over Rose” Collection Spring 2014)
Review

I really love this beautiful pink and sheer lipstick. It’s one of the cutest colors and so beautiful to wear in spring and summer (and every time you want something fresh and juicy on your lips). It reacts to the pH value of your lips and can be a light or intense pink, different on everybody. It also has a bit of fine pink glitter and is really gorgeous. And limited – it was only available in Givenchy’s 2014 spring collection and therefore we can only wait for a comeback.

Givenchy Le Prisme Visage “Color Confetti” (“COLOreCREATION” Collection Spring 2015)

First, I didn’t want to use this utterly beautiful powder. But when I applied it for the first time, it was true love. This is the most amazing powder I’ve ever used and since that first time, I’ve been using it for almost every make-up. That’s why I’m really scared of the day when I’ll hit the pan and it’s about to end. Fortunately, it’ll take some time for this to happen, but please, Givenchy, bring it back and make it permanent!

Dior Diorskin Nude BB Cream “001”
Review

I don’t know why, but Dior just discontinued this particular shade of their amazing BB Cream. It’s the best BB Cream ever and the color was perfect for my fair skin. And now it’s gone. Just like that. No reason, no information why, they just removed it from their shelves. And left me very angry without the possibility to buy a backup (or ten). I even looked for it in duty-free shops last year when we flew to Brazil, but nope – it wasn’t available anywhere. Seriously, this product is the one that I really miss the most. First, MAC discontinued their BB Cream and years later came back with a new version in many colors that’s not even half as good, and now Dior. I’m VERY disappointed.
Just in case: if anyone of you has one left or knows where to get it in my color, please write me!

Estée Lauder Pure Color Kajal Intense EyeLiner (“Cyber Eyes” Collection 2011)
Review

These khol liners are the best khol liners ever. They’re almost waterproof, stay on my waterline and the colors are very intense. “Blackened Black” and “Blackened Cocoa” are still my favorite two colors to use, even though I don’t use khol liners that often, and luckily it seems they’re at least still available directly on the Estée Lauder site. All other colors were part of a limited edition.

Dior “Lip Glow” Color Reviver Gloss (“Chérie Bow” Collection Spring 2013)

One of my favorite lip glosses ever and sadly, it was limited. There’s still a “Lip Glow” lip balm available that seems to have a similar effect, but it’s not the same, since Dior’s glosses are legendary (their texture is heavenly!). It’s another product I love to use especially during spring and summer because its effect is so wonderfully fresh and beautiful. I hope that Dior considers adding it to their permanent range.

Giorgio Armani Sheer Blush “#10”

Armani did not only discontinue the “Maestro” eye shadows but also the “Sheer Blush” range. Unfortunately, that’s why you can’t buy the gorgeous “#10” anymore. It’s my favorite rosé blush with a subtle pink glittery shimmer – fresh and glowing, extremely beautiful and something that Armani definitely has to bring back!

Shiseido Luminizing Satin Face Color “WT 905 High Beam White”

The last product on my list is this amazing highlighter – and I’ve been using it for EVERY make-up for a few years already. It’s my finish for every look I create and I’m sure I can’t live with it anymore. But there’s this major problem that Shiseido decided to remove it from their blush (it’s actually a blush) range. Fortunately I managed to get a backup from somewhere (don’t even remember it, maybe Sephora? I actually ordered two but they only sent one, which already left my furious!) when it was already too late, and I’m using that one already, so at the moment I’m trying to figure out how to put my hands on a few more backups, but it seems like it’s not available anymore at all. Sad story, because this is a perfect highlighter.

  • Same here for the dior bb creme. Soooooooo mad. It was the only base that look freakin natural and stayed put all day long on my skin while being pale enough. I just oppened my last tube and I know I will still have it for a year but it makes me really angry that they discontinued the palest color. Really not fair.

    • Hallo Lu,
