Where to start? Many great things happened this month. The first of them was an interview I had with Sueddeutsche Zeitung about being a woman, being fat, feminism and women’s role in our society. I contributed to an amazing article which you can read → here (in German). And although there are always moments when it’s hard to be a woman, I wouldn’t want to be a man at all.

I had a few wellness and beauty appointments: finally got my massage, a new haircut and new nails. All in order to get ready for an amazing event in London with Scarlett & Jo:

You can see everything I experienced in this video – from arriving at Heathrow and taking the tube to Soho with → Hanna , delicious burgers at Byron (best burger I’ve ever had – and the Courgette Fries were so good!), short nights at the Premier Inn (not the most luxurious hotel like last time, but I slept like a baby and had a nice stay, even though their Wi-Fi was the worst), waking up early at 5 am for a loooong day at S&J headquarters and their crazy customer event (waiting for the winner faces to be announced!), where over 100 plus-size women took part in a world record photo shoot (including us brand ambassadors and the lovely S&J models), to flying back home too soon. At least no airline madness thanks to Germanwings/Eurowings (still wanna kill someone at easyJet, so much hate!). :)

Another huge announcement is: I’m back to driving! We had to get a new car since our old one was almost dead. So we had a look at our favorites and ended up buying a completely different car because it was absolutely amazing: say hello to our new baby on → Insta! :) I’m so happy about this car because I didn’t like driving anymore, so I just let my husband drive me around for almost 7 years. Now I finally love it again and all I wanna do is drive! :)

On Friday I attended a very special event: a “Whisky Tasting” for us blogger ladies. :) I had actually never tried whisky before, so I came as a total whisky virgin and was surprised how much I liked it. We learned a lot about whisky, about the different procedures how whisky is made and how they get their different tastes. Thanks a lot to the → “25hours Hotel Hamburg Number One” and → Herr Lutz for the invitation! Now I can officially say that I love whisky and that from time to time, I’ll order whisky instead of my usual Gin Tonic! Curious to know which one was my favorite? Here’s a picture of → us!

What’s next?
To be honest, there’s not too much planned yet. May will be very calm and relaxed, I got another interview planned for this week and also a tiny event at my home which I announced through my social media channels (Facebook and Instagram), there’ll be a → “Shop my Closet” event on Saturday, by invitation only, and I’m fully booked for my little flea market. Can’t wait to meet everyone and get to know the new “parents” of my clothes that have to leave me. :)
We’ll also try to go home for just a few days, but that’s not clear yet, so there’ll be enough time to fill up my May with lots of meetings and hopefully many days outside because April had horrible weather and I can’t wait to be outside in the sun. :)
