May was full of new outfits and to be honest, I wasn’t really inspired to do something else – I guess that’s one of the side effects of having been a blogger for so long – you’ve already posted a lot and almost everything… Is there maybe something you’d like to read? Some topic that’s interesting for my “Private” column? Something else that you’d like to know, maybe some questions for a Q&A post? Please let me know! :)

The month started with another great interview after the successful article from last month. I was → interviewed by “Die Welt” about me, my blog and being plus size (and a plus blogger) in Germany. It’s a very honest interview that shows that there’s still a lot to be done!
I was also featured in → EmpireLifeMag, → RNG (Ronde Et Glamour) Magazine and in a funny article on → Revelist (please read it with your irony mode on!).
The next great event was my little “Shop my Closet” flea market at home, where we had a great time and my clothes found new homes. But there’s still enough left, so now I’m thinking about whether I’ll do a blog sale or another round at home (but first I’ll have to fill my clothes rails a bit more to offer everyone who’s coming a bigger selection!). Let me know if there’s something you’d prefer! :)
Two amazing pieces of news made May even more fabulous:
First – my outfit posts now come with videos. Well, at least I’ll try to do a short one for every new look. At the moment, everything’s going well and we keep finding enough time to film a bit after taking the photos. I really hope that you guys like this new feature and that it helps you to see my outfits in motion and get a feeling for how the fabrics “work” and how it looks when you’re not just standing there and posing for pictures. ;)
Second – a huge dream comes true and I’ll be designing my first piece of clothing in collaboration with → mable. I’m super excited because this is something I’ve been wanting to do for a long time and I can’t wait to see the outcome of our work together. It’s for next year’s Spring/Summer season, so there’s still some time left, but designing and preparing starts early! Here’s a preview of our logo, which you’ll find in the piece I designed:
June is Fashion Week month and even though I haven’t visited the “regular” Fashion Week in Berlin for a good time, I always came to have a look at the “Curvy” fair. This season, the fair was canceled, but there will be a plus-size space at the “Panorama” and I’ll try to be there for one day. There will also be a few events in Berlin which I want to attend, so I will be there a few times this month. :)
I’ll also be at home for my best childhood friend’s wedding (and yet another dentist appointment – I hope that’s when the horror finally ends for me, keep your fingers crossed!), for which I already had some serious outfit struggle because it’s my first real wedding invitation and of course I want to look good, but not better than the bride. :) Good thing is, I think I found my look and I’ll share it with you on Friday. ;)
