Well, not exactly Rio, but the good old dunes. And the title comes from the beach towel which I bought last year in Rio de Janeiro, at Aragem Rio. It has the most beautiful print, including typical forest and animal images from Brazil but also the “skyline” of Rio with Corcovado and Pão de Açúcar.

This is my last #BeachBodyNotSorry post for this year and at the same time my favorite – because it is so colorful and elegant. And then there’s the hat with my name on it. It was always difficult for me to get stuff with my name because Luciana isn’t really German (obviously, haha!) and therefore you can never find it on cups and other souvenirs. But there’s a lovely lady in Lebanon who makes these hats and was so kind to individualize one for me – not only could I choose the color but also what’s supposed to be written on it. If you have a look on Instagram, bloggers like to wear hats with “Out of Office” written on them or “Do not disturb” – I just wanted to finally own something with my name on it, so Luciana it was. ;) I’m so, so happy with this hat! Thank you again, Alia!

The swimsuit I’m wearing is already pretty old, I guess from 2010. It’s funny that it still fits (and that’s a size 42!). :) But it has always been one of my favorites, so I finally decided to wear it for the project, even though it’s not available anymore. I searched for similar swimsuits – here’s my selection:

So, back to #BeachBodyNotSorry – I’m pretty sad that I didn’t manage to do and blog more beach styles this year. Somehow the weather wasn’t good enough for my plans and then I was sick when I would have had the chance to do actual summer looks. I also didn’t buy new swimsuits and bikins and I didn’t want to show everything again (it’s different from normal outfits, you know what I mean…). But let’s just see what happens next year. :) If you want to see last year, just → click here or on the button in the sidebar on the right. I’ll also do another recap of this year and add a button for 2016. :)

By the way: I already talked about → the whole pump thing and it all being visible, and this time it’s my measuring system, the → FreeStyle Libre, which I put on my belly. I removed it from the photos because I felt it kind of distracted from the actual look, but you can still see it in the video. No biggie but I wanted to explain. ;) It’s still a part of me, but sometimes the artist in me feels annoyed by its appearance in the pictures. ;)

Socks: Falke

Seems like this is my first fall look of the year (even though I still hope that the sun won’t be gone as soon as expected so I can still wear a handful of summer outfits I couldn’t wear when I was sick in bed…)! And I wore it for a great occasion! As you all know, I was in Milan from Friday to Saturday last week with Marina Rinaldi for a special event. The capsule collection in cooperation with Stella Jean was presented on Friday evening and I was invited to come and have a look together with → Callie Thorpe and → Hayley Hasselhoff. But first, we had a delicious lunch and visited Marina Rinaldi’s flagship store in the heart of Milan for a styling session. It was super fun to try on a few of their stylist’s suggestions at the store and pick out some favorite pieces like the dress I’m showing you today (and which is part of the current collaboration with Tsumori Chisato). I guess we’ll receive the photos soon and I will show them to you in one of my next posts.

In the evening we finally got to see the presentation, which was absolutely stunning. The location was as artful as the collection and definitely the highlight of the day. Afterwards we had the most delicious Italian dinner at LARTE with the Marina Rinaldi team – the day was amazing and I really want to say thanks to everyone again. It was a pleasure to spend the day with you. ♥

The outfit I chose for the day is kind of casual chic and has this cool twist with the socks. I know they’re not everyone’s favorite, as I already found out on my social media channels, but I think that they’re exactly what makes the outfit an outfit. Of course, the look is nice without socks too – but with socks, it’s my kind of fashion. ;) It was fun to wear this look in Milan, I also had the feeling that I was photographed a few times on the streets and at the event, and yes, this makes me kind of proud. ;) It was also super exciting to see this absolutely fashionable city during Fashion Week. So many stylish people walking around – I kind of miss this here in Germany. We totally need a bit of that “Dolce Vita” feeling. ;)

Dress: persona by Marina Rinaldi
Platform Sandals: Jeffrey Campbell “Foxy”
Earrings: H&M
Bracelet: Hermès
Balloon: BOOOM BALLOON
Alternatives: ASOS sandals

Lead actor of today’s post is definitely the balloon, right? ;) I was the happiest kid ever when we got to shoot this look with my gorgeous customized (it has the colors of my dress!) balloon from BOOOM BALLOON. I had received a press kit with one of these lovely balloons and when I asked her, Paloma was so kind to create a special balloon for me that matches my dress as best as possible. ♥ I can’t even say how happy this colorful thing made me during my sick days at home (especially since I completely missed those two weeks of hot summer here in Hamburg!), and now, after almost four weeks, it’s getting a bit wrinkled. So if you’re thinking about getting one: it’s totally worth it and long-lasting fun (nooo, I didn’t do weird stuff like a five-year-old with the remaining helium of the first one – shhh!)! ;)

But let’s not forget this amazing dress! :) The designers at persona by Marina Rinaldi created a stunning piece and I love the colors and light fabric (Crêpe de Chine) – it’s a perfect summer dress (and probably the last one for this year – we already shot our first fall look yesterday!). I wore it when I was part of the jury for this year’s Plus Size Fashion Days and recreated my look for this photo shoot. :)

Dress: Scarlett & Jo
Sneakers: Converse
Bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs
Earrings: Dior “Mise en Dior”

Hey everyone – I’m back! I’ve recovered almost 100% and am ready for new adventures for the blog! This week will already be super exciting since I’m (hopefully – let’s just pray that I won’t get sick again!) going to Milan on Friday for a special event with Marina Rinaldi. I’ve never been there before, plus I truly love Marina Rinaldi, so this is going to be awesome! :)

But first, I’m back with another cute Scarlett & Jo look – it’s kind of unusual for me because it’s very playful AND I’m seriously wearing sneakers (casual, casual!). I wore this outfit in August at the German-American Volksfest in Grafenwöhr and it was a good choice, since it was hot and as you’re walking around a lot, flats are definitely what you need on that day.

So, this is → one of the Lollidot dresses (which means: it has a dot print, this time it’s tiny dots in hearts) and you already know the cut from → this dress. I’m wearing a size 16, which isn’t ideal for my small bust, so if you’ve got a similar figure, you can definitely go for a UK 14, maybe even a 12.

But before you buy, I’ve got a little giveaway for you! :) I also received this dress in purple and want to give this one away to one of you. It’s the same dress, size 16. You can have a look at the color → here. All you have to do is leave a comment, telling me something nice (just being honest – I need some kind words right now and why not choose this dress with hearts on it for this kind of way to enter the competition, right? ;)), until this Sunday, September 25. You can find the terms and conditions1 at the end of this post.

The winner is Nicole – congrats! :)
