Last month’s recap is pretty short since I was in bed half of the time. But nevertheless, let’s have a look at what else happened in September…

• My September •
I’ve already told you the whole story of me being sick too many times, so I’m gonna spare you all the details this time. Unfortunately, I missed the event in Russia because of this, but you should have a look at → Wundercurves, they already wrote a few posts about it.
On September 13, my husband and I celebrated our two-year wedding anniversary at home, but a few days later at a chic restaurant. It’s crazy how fast time flies – it feels like → our wedding was only a few months ago…
Luckily, I felt good enough to fly to Milan for the → Marina Rinaldi x Stella Jean event. You’ve already seen → my outfit of the day, but I want to share a few shots of our styling session at the flagship store with you, where we were dressed by the MR stylist:
The most beautiful dress I’ve ever worn – I felt like a queen! • Isn’t this an amazing gilet? The fur (yes, it’s real, but don’t judge, I don’t support it while I still accepted to wear it only for the photos!) is just a collar and glammed up the whole look.
This dress was my own choice, I really love it cause you can easily dress it up or down. I probably wouldn’t have chosen the vest by myself, but it looks pretty good, right? :) • A very classic dress I really liked – the upper part is chiffon, the skirt is silky (and probably, the silhouette looks a bit nicer with some Spanx underneath… ;)).
Best girl squad ever: Elisabeth Moore, Hayley Hasselhoff, Alessandra Garcia, Callie Thorpe, me, Fluvia Lacerda and Emily Johnston
Good thing I’m not super sweaty, haha – it was pretty hot and (as you know) I was wearing a thick-fabric dress with long sleeves and socks! All for the perfect style… ;)
The collection is very interesting. At first, I thought it was pretty crazy, not really my thing, especially when you wear everything mixed. I think that it’s best to choose one or two key pieces (like the colorful dress – my favorite! – or the red coat with abstract blue squares, → here are some great photos!) and combine them with plain pieces and simple accessories. Even though I must say that some of the crazy mixes were pretty cool!
I’ve also already planned a new “One night in…” post about the hotel in which I stayed for the night after the event, it will go online as soon as possible.
Today, I’m spending the afternoon with the winners of my C&A shopping day. I can’t wait to see which styles we will find and how amazing the girls will look at the end of the day – this is seriously going to be awesome!
This month, I’ll also be starting another lookbook with Anna Scholz for sheego – the first outfit is going online on Friday!
And at the end of October, it’s going to be super exciting cause it’s time for the Plus Size Fashion Days – and I’ll be one of the models again, yay!! So if you haven’t bought your tickets yet, make sure to head over to → plussizefashiondays.de and get yours so you can come and see the show, come to the marketplace and the workshops and hopefully also the glamorous party! ;) I’m already looking forward to that positive stress of fittings, catwalk training, learning the choreography and all that adrenaline right before and during the show. I’m really happy to be a part of it again!
