Photo shoots at night are definitely not as easy as they look in the pictures – but it’s fun to do them! For our first official try, I went for an all-black look because there’s not too much to miss when you look at the photos. I didn’t want the darkness or lighting to hide or change any important detail.

The look is super easy and I already wore this dress for a super long day in Milan – with my favorite lace-up boots, a black coat and some statement sunnies (kinda felt like in “The Devil Wears Prada”). But since I wanted to show you the amazing sleeves of this dress, I went for a kind of night out look with high heels. Either way, I love the dress so much and I’m happy to have found such a great piece that’s bodycon and still tight enough around my legs. If there’s something I hate, then it’s tight dresses that actually look like a sack down there because they’re too wide so the whole body-hugging effect is gone for good.

It seems like spring is finally here! Still a bit cold but we’re getting close to sunshiny days and dips in the pool, right? :) But I’m more than ready for outfits without actually still needing a coat and warm boots after the shoot. This one still needed a jacket afterwards, but I went out like this and felt like there was only some ice cream missing in the pictures. ;)

Culottes are something I’ve already shown you a few times and people either love them or hate them. I totally understand why, but there’s actually no kind of pants that’s more comfy and yes, I think they’re pretty cool and can make an outfit a “look”. ;) That’s why I chose them for this look instead of regular skinny jeans. They’d be totally awesome too, but the culottes make it more special. ;)

I also love the sweater and – of course – my slippers from Brazil. I love the brand Arezzo, they have amazing and comfy shoes and if you ever are in Brazil, you have to visit one of the stores. So I finally jumped on the slipper wagon and tried these shoes for the first time, and even though I was pretty sure that they wouldn’t really match my style (and my height), I like them very much and they’re great to wear. I think now I know why everybody’s wearing the Gucci slippers and kind of would like to own a pair by myself… we’ll see! ;)

I welcome spring with a bright red dress – even though the weather outside isn’t that lovely while it was super warm and nice in February when we shot these pictures (actually planned for Valentine’s Day, but due to being at home with my family, I just had no time to post it), today’s a good day to show you this gorgeous dress. :)

It’s currently almost sold out where I originally bought it because it was already on sale in February, but it keeps coming back in a few sizes. Don’t worry, though, this dress is still available in lots of different colors and styles, look:

Good to know
: when I ordered → this Chi Chi dress, I felt like the sizing was not correctly explained at navabi because a UK size 18 is not a EU size 44 but a size 46 – that’s why it was way too big for me (I had ordered a size 46 and ended up with a 48 because of Chi Chi’s weird sizing). Please have that in mind when ordering at navabi. Otherwise, my tip is to stick to the original sizing and always choose your actual UK size (mine is 16, which is a German 44). Plus: I had the feeling that the regular Chi Chi dresses tend to fit small to size while the Chi Chi Curve dresses are actually a bit larger, even though when wearing this red dress (and I chose a UK size 18, means a EU size 46!), I felt like it was way too tight around my bust and the arm holes were too small. That’s why the dress is now a skirt, thanks to my mom. ;) I guess my tips won’t help that much because you’ll definitely have to try the dresses on in order to find your right size. But it may help a little with choosing before ordering. ;)

Lu zieht an.® x mable | Witchcraft

I finally officially present: my skirt! :) Well, you’ve already seen it, but today I want to show you my very own pictures of and for the first piece I’ve ever designed. ♥ It was such a special feeling to create something and even though there were a few guidelines regarding the fabrics, this is something that comes right out of my mind.

From tomorrow, you’ll be able to buy it online at → mable. I’ll update the link as soon as the collection is available! So don’t forget to drop by again! ;)
Update: GET THE SKIRT NOW HERE!

Of course, my first piece of clothing had to be a skirt, a flared one. And if I wasn’t that small, this would actually be a calf-length skirt. ;) But to be honest, I like this length on me! Taller women will experience the planned length, though. ;)

I wanted to use almost all of the fabrics of the collection, that’s why the skirt consists of a very special mix of emerald velvet, red patent leather and that beautiful transparent branches fabric. I like the extravagant mix and as you know me: it can never be special enough. :) The official “Witchcraft” look with the cut-out shirt (also from mable) and a large-brimmed hat is definitely a statement and not for every day (even though removing the hat already makes it less “witchy”), but I promise that you can easily wear this skirt for a night out and even “downdress” it a little. ;) There will be another look with it on the blog as soon as possible!

I also want to thank Katja again for trusting in me and making this first collaboration happen. I want to translate what I already answered to the question why I’ve done this with mable:

“Definitely because young designers are the future, not only in the “normal” fashion world but also and especially in the plus-size fashion world. We need fresh ideas and designers who dare to turn them into reality. From the beginning, mable has always been a brand that, for me, stands for pure creativity and that actually tries out new things. Also, it’s surely great to finally launch something that I can call my own. I’m more than excited to see the response to it, which at least was completely positive at the → Plus Size Fashion Days 2016 – the cheering when I presented my skirt on the runway is something I’ll never forget!”

I hope you enjoy today’s post with more pictures than usual and a video that’s a little longer – guess this is the best occasion for some overload of everything. ;)
