HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I hope you all had a great party yesterday and 2018 started with loads of fun and love and peace and health for you. I had some bad headache yesterday so I spent most of the day in bed and almost missed midnight. Oops! I’d be lying if I told you that I’m not happy that the year is finally over. Let’s just have a look at the last month before I post my recap of 2017. ;)
• My December •
December was an important month for me – a big change! I finally moved out of Hamburg and am now (almost) fully settled in my old room back at my parents. I still hope that it’s just going to be a short stay here and I will be able to go back to Hamburg as soon as possible but I kind of enjoy being back where I grew up, even though there are a few disadvantages. But it’s perfect for my personal growth which is something I want to focus on even more in 2018.
During the move I also finally decided to → quit taking the pill. The first “period” (the withdrawal bleed) after 2.5 days was horrible – the pain on day one was absolutely unbearable (I tried the “Livia” and noticed that it’s not easy to use if you have a saggy belly which makes it impossible to apply the pads where you actually need them – plus: the diode cable is already almost broken after two tries). The bleeding was okay and thanks to one dear reader I instantly ordered my first menstrual cups: the “Explorer Set” from Fun Factory. The smaller one fit perfectly and I used it from day 2 until the end and I must say that I’m very impressed! I won’t say that I can’t wait to have the first actual period because of the pain, but I’m curious to see how it will be and how everything will function. I’ll give you an update after a few months! :)
Christmas and New Year’s Eve were pretty calm and, as I told you, I spent some time with my family. Tomorrow, I’m waiting for my new closet to arrive, so I can finally start to unpack my clothes and get rid of some stuff I don’t wear anymore. I had actually planned to do a flea market in Hamburg before all that shit happened, but now I’ll be doing it online. I’m gonna sell my clothes in a Facebook group, so if you’re interested, stay tuned – I’ll post about it as soon as it starts. ;)
