DEDieses Kleid schlummert schon lang in meinem Kleiderschrank – eigentlich ist es obenrum ein bisschen zu groß, dank des engen Schnitts zumindest meiner Meinung nach nicht die beste Wahl für mich und es rutscht ständig nach oben. Aber es ist trotz all den kleinen Problemen ein wunderbares Kleid mit schönen Details, das ich an mir sehr gerne sehe. Also habe ich es gestern aus dem Schrank geholt und ein Outfit damit zusammengestellt…
Im Gegensatz zum Kleid ist der passende Mantel seit etwas über einem Jahr ein Lieblingsstück (leider ist beides aber nicht mehr erhältlich… sorry dafür – ich habe aber eine Alternative rausgesucht!). Erst dachte ich, Muster plus Muster wäre ein bisschen zu viel des Guten, aber dann dachte ich mir: die Teile gehören zusammen, warum soll ich sie also nicht zusammen tragen? :) Ganz neue Stiefel dazu, Sonnenbrille auf und fertig. Die monochromen Looks sind definitiv meine Favoriten – dazu gehört sicher auch diese Kombi und ich habe das Outfit sehr gerne getragen. Nach dem Shooten waren wir beim Ono und haben uns ein kleines Sushi-Mittagsmenü gegönnt (wenn man vor einem Restaurant shootet, ist die Versuchung einfach zu groß…), bevor wir uns auf zur nächsten Location gemacht haben.

ENThis dress has been waiting for its appearance for a long time – it’s actually a little bit too wide on the bust, not the best cut for me (at least that’s what I always think about bodycon dresses) and it keeps slipping out of place. Nevertheless, it’s still a great dress with wonderful details and I really like it on my body. That’s why I picked it out of my closet and took it for a walk yesterday…
Unlike the dress, the matching jacket is one of my favorites (unfortunately, both pieces aren’t available anymore… sorry – but I looked for an alternative!). First, I thought that combining them would be way too much, but they’re part of the same collection, so I just did it. I added my new boots and some sunnies, and voilà. I really like monochrome outfits – and this is definitely one of them, I really felt good while wearing it. :)

DEEinen ersten herbstlichen Look zeige ich euch heute schon mal, hier mit meinem liebsten Strickjäckchen in grau, bei meinem neuesten → navabi Style Council Artikel mit einer schwarzen Lederjacke, zusammen mit meinen Herbstfavoriten. :)

Der Jumpsuit in schwarz-weiß mit weiten Beinen und dem (ich hab’ es erst auf den zweiten Blick erkannt) Giraffenprint hat es mir schon länger angetan, aber als ich ihn endlich in der Hand hatte, war es schon zu kalt, um ihn einfach so zu tragen. Jetzt ist die Sonne natürlich wieder zurück, aber ich hab’ das Ganze einfach mal etwas herbstlicher kombiniert – und somit den Beweis, das man auch die liebsten Sommerklamotten im Herbst noch tragen kann. ;)
Eigentlich mag ich den Jumpsuit wirklich sehr, in echt sieht er auch wirklich toll aus – auf den Fotos trägt er leider ziemlich auf. Schade drum, aber manchmal ist es eben so, dass Fotos was anderes zeigen als das, was wirklich da ist. ;)

Insgesamt ist das ein recht dunkler Look, da ich mal wieder Lust auf Smokey Eyes hatte und mit leichter Undone-Frisur, die einfach ein bisschen wilder aussehen sollte als sonst (meine Helfer: “Texture Wave” von Shu Uemura, “Dry Wash” und “Stay Strong” von Paul Mitchell).

ENToday I want to show you a first fall look, wearing my favorite fuzzy gray cardigan – you can find a different styling in my new → Style Council article for navabi, for which I combined the jumpsuit with a black leather jacket, and my other fall favorites. :)

I already fell in love with this black-and-white wide-legged jumpsuit with giraffe print some time ago, but when I had the chance to take some pictures, the weather was already too bad to wear it without a jacket – so that’s my proof that you can still wear your favorite summer clothes when it’s colder. ;)
I actually really like the jumpsuit and it looks great – but in the pictures it unfortunately makes me look pretty heavy. That’s too bad, but sometimes photos show something else than reality. ;)

Overall, this is a pretty dark look as I wanted to wear some smokey eyes and kind of an undone hairdo which I wanted to look a little bit wilder than usual (my little helpers: Shu Uemura’s “Texture Wave”, Paul Mitchell’s “Dry Wash” and “Stay Strong”).

DEDer heutige Look ist mal was ganz Neues – Mustermix hab’ ich bisher noch nie ausprobiert und ich muss sagen: ich liebe es!

Dearcurves hab’ ich im Februar in London beim “British Plus Size Fashion Weekend” kennengelernt – und war sofort begeistert. Ich liebe den afrikanischen Style und bin immer am Staunen, wenn Frauen in solcher Kleidung an mir vorbeigehen – umso mehr habe ich mich gefreut, dass es das Ganze auch in Plus Size gibt und tatsächlich auch bei meiner sehr hellen Haut funktioniert (ich liebe die bunten Muster ja so sehr auf dunkler Haut, das sieht so fantastisch aus!). Den Rock gibt es leider nicht mehr, denn vor Kurzem hat Dearcurves zu einem besonderen SALE eingeladen – alle Teile im Shop gibt’s momentan für 25 Pfund – und da habe ich natürlich schnell zugeschlagen (jop, alles selbst gekauft!). Der Rock und ein wunderbares Kleid das leider auch mittlerweile ausverkauft ist und auch ein bisschen zu groß ist und noch umgenäht werden muss, sind vor Kurzem bei mir angekommen und den Rock habe ich jetzt also mal ganz ungewohnt gestylt. Ich schreibe das ja sonst nie dazu, aber dieses Mal bin ich wirklich gespannt, was ihr dazu sagt! :)

ENToday’s look is something very new and special – mixing prints is something I’ve never done before and I have to say: I love it!

I got to know Dearcurves in February in London at the BPSFW and it absolutely got me. I’m always swooning over this African style and women wearing it, that’s why I was so happy to find out there’s something in plus size and that it works on my very fair skin (I just love the colorful prints on dark skin, it’s fantastic!). Unfortunately, the skirt is already sold out, as Dearcurves is selling everything for 25 pounds at the moment. That’s why I instantly picked two pieces – this skirt and a gorgeous dress – which arrived some days ago. I normally don’t write this, but this time I’m pretty curious about your thoughts on my very unusual style! :)
