Das Jäckchen, mit dem alles anfing… Eigentlich sollte ich ja langsam mal über meine TK Maxx-Eskapaden schweigen, weil es sicher langweilig wird – aber das erste Teil kann man ja doch mal kurz erwähnen, oder? Denn es war mein erster Besuch dort und dann gleich sowas Schönes! Liebe auf den ersten Blick (ich meine: es ist grün, ich kann gar nicht anders!), lediglich ein etwas lockererer Knopf (den ich daheim ganz zackig festgenäht habe), Kenzo (erklärt sich von selbst) und mehr als über die Hälfte reduziert – komm’ zu Mama! :) Seitdem schwirre ich natürlich besonders in der “Gold Label”-Abteilung rum und suche nach Designerstücken (shame on me, früher hat mal Aldi gereicht, hm – aber Mode ist ja, was man daraus macht!), die wirklich günstiger sind. :) Das funktioniert natürlich größentechnisch nicht immer ganz so leicht (so wie ich das sehe, sind da auch viele Sample-Teile in den üblichen Größen dabei, die größeren Größen sind vor allem auch mal “Zweite Wahl” oder haben tatsächlich einen kleinen Fehler), aber ab und zu findet man wirklich einen Schatz – oder geht die Sonnenbrillenabteilung penibel durch (ja, ich bin ein kleiner Freak, aber ihr wisst ja – ich liebe Sonnenbrillen!) und findet tatsächlich auch mal was von Dior oder Givenchy (allerdings ist das dann meistens doch sooooo krass “last season”, also eher von vor 10 Jahren, dass es nicht wirklich gut aussieht). Ja, ich beichte an der Stelle, dass ich bei TK Maxx zu einem kleinen Markenschwein mutiert bin, aber nur, um die Einzelstücke natürlich mit H&M, Zara und Co. zu kombinieren – oder mit anderen tollen Schnäppchen (so wie die Tasche bei diesem Outfit!). Womit wir dann auch beim heutigen Look wären…

Wenn ich etwas kaufe, dann natürlich nicht blind und nur, weil es reduziert und/oder vom Designer ist, sondern mache mir noch vor Ort Gedanken, wie ich das Teil denn kombinieren kann. Im Bestfall überlege ich mir gleich drei Outfits, denn nur für ein Mal was kaufen wäre ziemlich dumm (und so viel Geld habe ich dann auch nicht übrig, um nonstop nur neuen Kram für ein paar Stunden zu tragen und dann wieder wegzuhängen). Bei meinem kleinen Kenzo-Liebling hatte ich sofort eine Kleiderkombi im Kopf – schwarz natürlich, damit es einen gebührenden Auftritt bekommt. :) Ich hab’ da aber auch noch was mit Jeans im Hinterkopf und (auch wenn es eventuell nochmal shoppen erfordert… *hüstel*) eine zweite Kombi mit Kleid. Auf jeden Fall wollte ich noch eine zweite Farbe einbringen und dachte mir, dass Orange genau richtig ist und so komplettierte ich den Look mit meiner Mini-Tasche, bei der ich den langen Schulterriemen mal abgemacht habe – wirkt etwas mehr ladylike und nicht ganz so “Kindergarten”, denn klein genug ist das Täschchen ja schon. :)

The jacket that started it all… Actually, I should stop writing about my TK Maxx escapades as it’s probably becoming pretty boring – but I think it’s okay to talk about the first piece, right? It was my first visit to the store and I instantly found something so beautiful! Love at first sight (I mean, it’s green, I just couldn’t resist!), only one button that was a little loose (at home, I immediately fixed it), Kenzo (well, that’s self-explanatory) and more than half the price off – mine! :) Since that day, I love to browse through the “Gold Label” section, searching for designer pieces (shame on me, when I was little, clothing from discount stores was absolutely enough – but fashion is what you make of it!) which are affordable. :) That’s not always that easy with bigger sizes (as I’ve seen it, there seem to be many sample-sized clothes, but plus-sized stuff is mostly “second-class quality” or has some small defects), but from time to time you can really find some little treasures – or you can fastidiously scan the sunglasses section (yup, I’m a freak, but you know me – I love sunglasses!) and dig up something from Dior or Givenchy (but actually those are soooo “last season”, like from ten years ago, and really not looking good anymore). Okay, I have to confess that TK Maxx made me a little brand whore – but only to combine designer pieces with H&M, Zara and Co., or other great bargains (like this post’s bag!). So here we are: today’s outfit…

When I go shopping, I don’t just buy anything because it’s cheaper and/or from a designer. I like to think about (before buying) how I can combine it. Best case scenario: I come up with three outfits. Buying something to wear it only once is pretty stupid (and I don’t have that much money left to constantly buy new stuff and only wear it once for a few hours and then hide it in my closet). So I instantly had a dress combo in mind for my Kenzo darling – of course it had to be black for an appropriate appearance. :) But I still have another two ideas, one including jeans and another one with a dress. Anyways, I wanted to bring in another color and went for orange, which I think goes just perfectly with green, and that’s how I completed my look with my mini bag, for which I removed the shoulder strap to make it look more lady-like instead of “kindergarten” (the bag is small enough for that association, right?). :)
