What. An. Amazing. Summer. It’s unbelievable how hot and sunny this year’s summer is! It’s just perfect, even though I wish it was just a little less hot cause I’m literally melting. Especially cause I had to work this week and it’s definitely too hot in a food truck. But it’s summer and I’m thankful that it’s so wonderful – everything is different, people are happy, we’re all in a very special mood, you can sit outside until you fall asleep on the balcony (happened to me, whoops), you can have ice cream all day long,… I mean, the last time I remember a summer like this, was probably 1995 or so. :) Childhood summers were always the greatest. And somehow, it feels like a childhood summer again.

Anyways, this heatwave calls for less clothes than usual, so first thing I want to say is: PLEASE don’t care about what other people could think or say – it’s way too hot to hide yourself in too much fabric. Just wear whatever the heck you want, be as naked as you feel like (not completely naked where it’s not allowed, tho, haha!) and always remember to give zero fucks if someone complains about your look. ;) You’ve got better things to do in this summer. Like swimming. Or having another ice cream. Or just trying not to drown in your own sweat. Period.

I still had no chance to wear this dress, but we already shot it so I can show you my perfect summer date night look. And I really hope to find a perfect male match for this outfit, so we can go out and have the greatest date ever! :)

Today’s outfit has a funny story behind the look – cause these aren’t my own clothes! :)

I’ve been following Katharina for a long time and always swooning over her photos, she’s an amazing photographer from Koblenz and when I was in Düsseldorf a few weeks ago, we managed to do a super quick shoot together before I had to leave for the airport. I’m incredibly happy that we finally met and had the chance to take some pictures!

Since my wardrobe is still very limited, she brought some of her own clothes so we could do one very different look. I mean: especially that jacket is something I’d never buy on my own cause I’d believe that it’s not my style but I actually love it! Especially in combination with that lovely dress!

You see: sometimes, it’s cool to let someone else dress you up (or at least get some different ideas from a friend or so) and give new things a chance. ;)

Here it is, the last look of this year’s → #BeachBodyNotSorry project. I’m very sorry and actually pretty sad that I couldn’t provide more different photos and styles but due to my current situation (no beaches, no actual photographer, plus: I was too sad during the summer months) this is all I could do. Now, it’s getting too cold for beach looks but as we all know: next year there’ll be a new summer season and I’m looking forward to new chances and new styles for my most favorite project of the year. :)

Since it’s already pretty cold and also a little bit weird to pose just in a swimsuit on the middle of the street in a small village, I decided to create a pool party look by adding a long kimono and high heels.

This swimsuit might be one of my absolute favorites. I love the print which is kind of watercolor-like. I also love the cut and the fit – even though this is a piece from H&M’s regular collection and “only” EU size 42. Sometimes, it’s worth a try to go for smaller sizes, especially because swimwear is very elastic. Of course, it shouldn’t cut into your skin but I’ve learned that swimwear does not always have to be chosen in your regular size. So that’s just a tip from my side. ;)

Oh, the easy summer looks – how I missed them! :) I’m so glad summer’s back (well, not today while writing this post, it’s raining, but I guess that’s part of living in Germany)!

Today’s outfit kind of reminds me a bit of the country style and I really love how it’s super casual but sexy at the same time. I think the top is actually supposed to be worn with the laces falling down, but I thought it’d be cool to wear them around my neck and I really like the outcome.

And since this look is very cropped, you can say “hi” to my lovely little Dexcom sensor. ;) I promised to not retouch my pictures and not remove my diabetes stuff from my cyborg body because it’s a part of me (the pump is clipped to the bum bag of my jeans), so here it is. ;) That’s also what I meant when I wrote about realness in my last “Private” post. ;)
