Green is definitely my favorite color, especially shades like khaki and olive – perfect colors for fall and also a perfect match for my eye color (green-brown).
This blouse was my first favorite of the new collection and I knew I had to shoot it. While sheego went for a combination with leather pants, I decided to work it with a fake leather midi skirt. Either way, this is a blouse that’s very feminine and gives a special touch to any style, whether you’re wearing pants or a skirt (or culottes, how about giving them a try for this look?).
The oversized houndstooth print also has a detail that I only saw when I looked at the pictures – it’s kind of a goodie for smaller breasts, as the black parts are placed above the bust like a triangle. And we all know: lighter parts stand out while dark spots recede into the background. So if you want to accentuate your bust, this is a blouse to go for. ;) Also, I like the details: the ruffles in the front, the bronze button and the beautiful slightly flared sleeves. And I’m back in the hat game – prepare yourselves for fall and many hat looks (gotta buy a new one, or maybe two – I definitely need a grey hat!).

More about my make-up on → sheego’s blog “feel happy!” – make sure to have a look! ;)

If there’s one fashion thing that I always repeat, it’s combining black with some colorful details. Black is definitely the most fashionable color – it works for any occasion, fits everyone and always looks classy (or just the way you want it!).

Today, I’m combining black with a longer midi skirt with a colorful brush strokes print. The skirt was instantly sold out at H&M, so unfortunately there’s only one chance for you to (maybe) get it: get up early at around 5 am and have a look at the online shop – that’s when they re-fill their stock and almost everything is available in all sizes.

Of course I couldn’t resist adding some special details like my heels and the glittering sunnies from Miu Miu. I also tried something new: wearing my shoulder bag as a fanny pack. I still think that’s a great idea (especially if you’re not carrying too much stuff around with you) and gives the whole look that very special last touch. Fancy meets classy. Definitely me! :)

Outfit ♥ Whitney

ENToday’s outfit is a little more experimental. It wasn’t easy to come up with an idea about how to style this yellow net shirt from Zizzi, but in the end I came to the conclusion that if you can see what’s underneath, it should at least be interesting. The “Whitney” bra from Agent Provocateur (it’s one of my favorites!) is just perfect for this idea – normally, its bondage design is supposed to be extremely sexy (you can move the most important strap), but this way it doesn’t look like I forgot my whip at home. ;) I tried to style it all a little bit like the 80s, that’s why I added some bright orange lips and the geometric earrings. And because it was pretty warm when we took the pictures, I had a refreshing drink. :)

ENHappy Monday, everyone! I’m starting the week with a huge change – my hair! If you’re not following me on → Instagram and → Facebook, this might be a big surprise for you! :) Last Wednesday, I finally had the guts to do it and spent 7.5 hours at my hairdresser’s with lots of itching (and no scratching – it’s horrible!) and butt pain, changing my hair color to a silver gray. I’ve been wanting to do this for five years (→ here’s my blog post about it) and now I’m more than happy that I did it. :) Of course, a huuuuge thanks goes out to my hair God Dimitri – as always, he did a great job!
So now I’ve got a new hair color but still many outfits left with the old brown and blonde hair. Just to let you know, there are many looks left and you’ll probably be a little confused – but I wanted to spread the news as soon as possible. ;)

In other news, I’m wearing fair trade today, from Noble Project, a charity fashion label from Hamburg (support your local heroes, right?). When they wrote me and I had the chance to pick one of their shirts, I instantly fell for the “Bisous” shirt. Even though I’m not somebody who loves to wear lettering on my bust, I love this girly shirt and of course that’s how I had to combine it. I’m happy to be part of the supporters of Noble Project, besides many artists and designers like Lala Berlin, Markus Lupfer, Paul van Dyk, Tibi and many more. So whenever you feel the need to wear fair trade, please have a look at → Noble Project and check out their shirts and sweaters. Find more information about them → here.
