ENTalking about new experiments, today it’s time for a current trend: culottes. Mine had to be shortened (in order to have the intended length) as I’m a Human McNugget (read this some time ago and thought that it was pretty funny!). What I really like about this kind of trousers is that depending on how you’re moving, they even look like a (midi) skirt. They’re very versatile and for → my latest “Style Council” article I went for a more romantic combination with pink. We already shot a second look with the culottes, so stay tuned! I’m curious to know what you think about these very special trousers!

ENMy second “Style Council” look is about something more or less new too: a vest. I don’t wear them very often because I don’t always feel great wearing them. Nevertheless, sometimes, they look pretty cool and give some outfits their last touch – just like here. :)

Finally, I got some black jeans again! The last time I bought some was 4-5 years ago at Primark. They were okay but just didn’t have the right quality to “live” long enough. It’s good to know now where to get some great jeans if something happens (I’m especially talking about that thick thighs problem – the rubbing makes the fabric become thinner and thinner…).

My latest → “Style Council” article is all about jeans – because I finally found “my” jeans brand: Zizzi. At the last “Curvy” fair, all bloggers had the chance to pick some pieces from their last season samples, and as I heard that their jeans are perfect and they were all my size, I instantly put my hands on them. :) I’m sure I’ve never worn such perfect jeans before!

For the first part of my little jeans special for navabi, I styled a more sophisticated look with the classic blue jeans – and, of course, brought in another blouse. :) This time, it’s a blouse that’s definitely a dress for me – and so I had the chance to style something new for me – a “dress” over a pair of jeans. Combined with this gorgeous bright yellow coat (isn’t it beautiful?) and classic accessories like the bag and the boots, this is a perfect “casual chic” outfit for a nice lunch with a friend. :)

DENeues Jahr – neue Outfits.

EN

New year – new outfits. But I have to admit that this one is actually from last year. There’s some really bad weather out there and the fact that we can only shoot on the weekends doesn’t make it easier because it’s hard to use those spontaneous short moments of sunshine. That’s why we haven’t managed to photograph any new outfits yet. But don’t worry, there’s going to be another outfit after this one very soon and we’re working hard on finding some dry and not-so-windy locations so that I don’t have to stay inside, looking out of the window like “Grumpy Cat” herself. ;)
Good news – my very pink look brings us not only color but also happiness! ;) Bad news – the coat isn’t available anymore (but I already told navabi to bring it back!) – but I’ll put some pink coats on my shopping list below. This was one of my Christmas holidays outfits and it was very cozy and comfortable, especially thanks to this cashmere sweater! I combined it with my boyfriend jeans for a more casual look and added more pink with my earrings and a very bright lipstick. I even tried adding more pink with my “Miss Dior” bag, but let’s say: sometimes, less is more. ;)

This outfit is part of my → latest “Style Council” article for navabi, in which I’m talking about my 4 must-haves for 2015. You can get a preview of my second outfit (for which the bag was just perfect!), which I’ll show you here very soon.
