Well, “Poppies in Paris” sounds kind of weird, but sometimes, I’m not as creative with post titles as I’d like to be, haha! But since I called my older posts with this dress “Poppies and Daisies”, I wanted to have the flowers in today’s title – and Paris, it’s obvious, why I chose it. Even though this is clearly not the real Paris and totally not the real Eiffel tower. ;) But it was a lucky find – the whole location had so many surprises for us. We thought we’d go for some contrast with that lady-like dress and choose a not-that-nice background but went around the corner and saw this mini Eiffel tower. And only minutes later, that guy came around with his fancy car. Props to the universe for gifting us with these great picture enhancers for our “last” photo shoot together. “Last”, because it was officially the last one with Jacqueline while living in Franconia, but I’m pretty sure we will see each other again and hopefully create more amazing pictures together – maybe even in Hamburg! ♥

Just in case you want to see the other looks with this dress: “Poppies and Daisies I”“Poppies and Daisies II” and “Poppies and Daisies III” – you can also find them at the end of this blog post, as usual, if there’s material for “style it differently”. And yes, this dress is clearly versatile and was the best dress ever to buy. If I were a dress, I’d be this beautiful one!

My second #BeachBodyNotSorry look is an experienced version of the classic Mix & Match – because I’m not only mixing different colors/patterns but also brands. Unfortunately, I could only buy the bikini top with the palm print so I had to improvise. I kind of got crazy with Phylyda and already own three bikinis, the black and pink combo, the light blue one from my last post (the → diversity project) and a full copper one. I decided to wear only the bottoms of the last one because I thought that adding the copper to the palm print will kind of make it look like an actual tree. :D Well… I like the mix. plus it looks amazing with the matching sunglasses – and cause it is super hot and extremely sunny these days, I’m wearing a hat. It’s a vintage piece I found in my grandma’s closet. :)

Here’s the last piece of my little Marina Rinaldi x Stella Jean series on the blog – I promised you a color bomb and there it is! :) This dress is my absolute favorite of the whole collection, it’s just so perfect and beautiful and such a great piece for summer! I love that Frida Kahlo vibe it has and even though it is super colorful, it’s so much fun to over-colorize with accessories, for example with statement sunnies. First, I thought they could be too much, but then I was like “why not?” and actually love the combo (which was much needed because the sun was super bright on that day!). Instead of wearing the obvious red lipstick which I already wore to the Stella Jean FW event in February, I went for pink and also added my pink Dior earrings for that extra dab of color. ;)

Green is my favorite color – and I truly love khaki green, it’s the shade of green that fascinates me the most. Of course, I was instantly in love when I saw that Anna Scholz created a → khaki green lace dress for the new collection in collaboration with sheego and I knew that it was going to be one of the three pieces I’d choose for → my lookbook.

Not only is this dress super comfy because of the very soft fabric but it’s also easy to wear in different styles. You can wear it casually with espadrilles and a denim jacket, for example, or style it more elegantly with high heels and some statement jewelry.

I’ve decided to go for a modern but chic look and therefore did some expected and also some unexpected accessorizing. First, the shoes – I guess, black is always the safe choice, but I kinda felt like it would be a bit too dark since the dress already has a black base and I wanted to loosen it all up. That’s why I went for beige. And then, there’s the belt – of course, the dress looks nice without it, but I went for a size up (46 instead of 44 like with most of the Anna Scholz for sheego dresses) and that’s why the waistline was a bit too loose and also too low for my body shape. Nothing a belt can’t fix. ;) And I love accentuating my waist, so it was kind of obvious that I’d go for a belt.
