I got this wonderful dress for my birthday – isn’t it amazing? Even though I’ve been wearing a lot of pants recently, my heart’s still beating for dresses, especially floral ones. ;) And hats! That’s probably one of the good things up here where I’m right now: it’s not as windy as in Hamburg, which makes it easier to wear hats without living in fear of losing them thanks to half a storm outside. :) But I still miss the wind, a lot.

I’ve been in Hamburg from last Thursday until Monday and even though the wind is kind of annoying, you can actually miss it. Sitting at the harbor and letting it ruin your hairdo is probably one of the best feelings in the world. ♥ I’ll tell you more about my little Hamburg trip in my next recap of the month, so stay tuned for some Hamburg melancholia. ;)

I know, I know, it’s super cold these days – at least it wasn’t, when we took these pictures. :) And the jacket is kind of warm plus the overknee boots are a good choice to keep your legs warm when  you’re wearing a short jumpsuit. To be honest, I’m still no fan of shorts cause they always go up between my thighs and I have to keep pulling on them all the time, but they look so nice! Haha!

Unfortunately, none of the pieces seem to be available anymore (most of them are already old, though), so I searched for some alternatives and you can find them below.

As I promised you in my last post about the PSFD, here comes my first look with a dress from Paprika. I fell in love with it the second I saw it at the marketplace and had to buy it as soon as I got back home. I actually wanted to shoot it with a hat (you all know me: fall = hat season) but then I liked it even better with that crazy hair style (loads of dry shampoo and hair spray but I haven’t used a curler!).

I also love to be back at wearing overknee boots and got a new pair for this season – bold red ones which I want to wear with the other Paprika dress I bought! ;) Can’t wait to shoot the look! It’s gonna be so cool (at least in my mind). :)

I guess nobody here knows about my weird obsession with Finland. I fell in love with the country when I was about 14 years old – because of the band Rasmus. I listened to their songs every day, knew all of them by heart (a few even still today!) and was pretty sure that one day, I’d marry the lead singer (instead, I named a cute little cat Lauri). I’ve never been there yet (shame on me – anybody who wants to go with me?), but when I was young, I owned the Finnish flag and it hung on the wall in my room, I had ICQ friends from Finland who had to send me Finnish stuff and I even tried to learn the language, but all I can say now is that I’m not feeling very well (“minulla on huono olo” – at least that’s what I learned). And there are even more crazy stories I won’t tell now. ;) Good thing I have a lovely friend, → Hanna, who’s Finnish and helped me with today’s blog post title. ;) And who made it happen that I can show you a Finnish outfit today – from the brand “Excuse My BonBon”. :)

This is actually a tunic but as we all know by now, for your favorite Human McNugget they’re always dresses (even though they’re mostly pretty short, but that’s why I wear something opaque underneath). Even though I haven’t posted it on the blog yet, I’ve already worn it a few times, for example at my → C&A shopping day event (with leggings and biker boots) or → at the Vollkommen.Braut. store opening (with a pencil skirt). Even though it has a very delicate print, this is a versatile piece which can be worn for many different occasions – from casual to chic. For today’s look, I just went for a basic look with knee-high boots and a small patent belt, combined with my lovely “Dionysus” bag and a very natural make-up look, using different shades of brown and beige. P.S.: I’m wearing size 44/46 and the fit is perfect. No need to size up or down, no matter how you’re planning on wearing the tunic. :)
