From → cozy and casual directly to → the first LBD of the year – and yet another kind of business look, I guess. It’s probably because of the glasses, but whenever I take pictures with them, I feel like I’m ready to be a super important secretary. ;) I’m pretty sure that by adding more office-appropriate shoes (thinking about not-that-high, maybe suede or at least not patent leather pumps) and a blazer (maybe even a colorful one if you want to go for black with a twist), this is definitely a dress that can be worn to work. Even though it’s amazing as a classic LBD and also pretty versatile – it can look more playful thanks to the polka dots, but also very chic and classy if you add a belt, some fancy heels and maybe drop the glasses (I’m always a contact lens girl when it comes to special occasions). ;)

The dress is an amazing “new in” from Scarlett & Jo and also → available in black and white (black skirt, upper part is white), even though I must say that I absolutely prefer the all-black version. ;) Can’t go wrong with an LBD, right? ;) Here, I’m wearing my usual UK 16 again because of the bodycon fit and I’m happy to say that it fits perfectly as always. ;)

P.S.: The → S&J SALE is ending these days and if you want to get one of the amazing pieces you should hurry. There’s one of my favorites, for example, the → “Tall Wrap Dress” which you know from → this post! ;)

Pumps: Marina Rinaldi
Earrings: Chanel
Alternatives: ASOS blazer,
Junarose blouse, Noisy May pants,
ALDO pumps

This is a look that I completely planned in my head and really hoped that it’d turn out as amazing as I saw it when putting the pieces together in my mind – and I’d say: yes, it did!

It’s probably one of those looks that you wouldn’t expect from me, but I like to surprise as much as I like to do all those obvious dress looks – not only you but also myself. And I must say that this surprise turned out to be a golden ticket for me: I love this look so much, especially because of those pants! They’re fake leather but so incredibly soft and great to wear – if you’re looking for some perfect quality fake leather pants, you HAVE TO try these. I know they’re pretty expensive, but they’re worth every cent (and also available in black)!

I’m a big fan of how these fall colors work together – we have the brown pants, a greyish white lace blouse, a dark purple and brown jacket and the shoes in a very dark brown shade – and all those colors look absolutely great in combination! I liked the combo so much, I even had to recreate it for my make-up. ;) Love the dramatic look with the smoky eyes and matte lips (for which I mixed three different liquid lipsticks for the perfect shade and some ombré). :)

Dress: C&A
Cardigan: C&A
Overknees: C&A
Earrings: Dior “Mise en Dior”
Choker: Jennifer Fisher
Alternatives: Glamorous dress,
Dune boots, ASOS choker

Almost dark and super rainy – best conditions for a shoot, right? Ha, well, somehow we managed to take the photos despite the bad circumstances and I actually like the grainy look of them…

This is the second look I found at C&A during my shopping day event. The dress is absolutely fab and I loved it from the moment I first saw it. The cardi is also a love-at-first-sight piece – especially because of the color. I definitely love that shade of rust and it goes perfectly with the dark blue.

Overknees are a major thing every fall/winter and → last year, I bought a pair at H&M which has a higher (block) heel. This year, I found these at C&A and love them even more, especially because they’re not that high and still kind of sexy. Still, I must say that I haven’t found THE perfect overknees yet, even though these reach 90%. I haven’t found overknee boots that don’t keep rolling down my knees. I guess that’s somehow a fabric (both of my boots are very soft and elastic) and big-thighs problem. Maybe I need to find some that are firmer. Until then, these are absolutely amazing, I really love them!

When I styled my look in-store, I also wore the hat I’ve already shown you in → my first look, but I decided to wear it without this time – both look great, as you can → see here on Instagram. ;)

It was really hard to find a post title for today’s look. I chose “Broadcast” because I wore this outfit on Monday when I was live on the radio. I did a short interview for WDR Funkhaus Europa and had my own little studio at NDR Hamburg, which was a funny experience because the radio interviews I did before were all on the phone and now I was invited to the studio but it was only for me – yet we were connected through the stations. Unfortunately, it seems there is no podcast, but let me tell you: it’s nothing new. I answered a few questions about me and the blog, plus size in Germany and what’s my wish for the future of all plus-size bloggers here. I still hope the answers were interesting for everyone who didn’t know me and the blog (and our plus-size blogosphere) yet, and if you came here because of the show – welcome! :)

About my look: this dress is officially a → “Curvy Tall” dress from Scarlett & Jo, but since I love midi dresses or even calf-length dresses, I was like “who cares?” and as you can see, the choice wasn’t bad. Usually, when I buy longer dresses, they’re instantly maxi dresses (but with a weird length), and even though this isn’t a problem for me, I sometimes wish I were a bit taller so dresses would have their actual lengths and would look like they’re supposed to. But since I’m so short, this is something I had to learn and I also learned how to cheat – of course, every dress will be a bit longer, but sometimes this can be very cool and look extremely great! Just like this one! Normally, I’d say that especially midi (and longer) dresses work perfectly with high heels, but since I’m a comfy person and like to wear flats, I went for my favorite sandals (gosh, I really hope they’ll never break!) and as you can see – it looks amazing. Even though I’m short. And even if some may think that there’s this rule that short people should try to look as tall as possible by avoiding certain dress and skirt lengths and wearing heels as often as possible, I say: fuck it. You don’t have to please anyone else but yourself. And if you want to wear midis with flats – do it! Your life, your body, your clothes, your rules. Ha!
