Green is my favorite color – and I truly love khaki green, it’s the shade of green that fascinates me the most. Of course, I was instantly in love when I saw that Anna Scholz created a → khaki green lace dress for the new collection in collaboration with sheego and I knew that it was going to be one of the three pieces I’d choose for → my lookbook.

Not only is this dress super comfy because of the very soft fabric but it’s also easy to wear in different styles. You can wear it casually with espadrilles and a denim jacket, for example, or style it more elegantly with high heels and some statement jewelry.

I’ve decided to go for a modern but chic look and therefore did some expected and also some unexpected accessorizing. First, the shoes – I guess, black is always the safe choice, but I kinda felt like it would be a bit too dark since the dress already has a black base and I wanted to loosen it all up. That’s why I went for beige. And then, there’s the belt – of course, the dress looks nice without it, but I went for a size up (46 instead of 44 like with most of the Anna Scholz for sheego dresses) and that’s why the waistline was a bit too loose and also too low for my body shape. Nothing a belt can’t fix. ;) And I love accentuating my waist, so it was kind of obvious that I’d go for a belt.

It’s finally looking like fall on the blog, right? :) Today’s look is a tribute to my mom, who created it. The shirt and skirt are hand-sewn by her and I truly love them together (you already know the shirt, just have a look at the “style it differently” section at the end of this post!), they’re a perfect match.

Since I finally own a brown bag (yup, it was about time!), I went for a warm and soft look, adding brown details and beige shoes (matching the lipstick). Of course, black would’ve been a good choice, as always, but I think that it all harmonizes best with brown. More fall-like. ;)

I think this could be a good business look too, maybe with opaque tights and pumps instead of the platform sandals. You can also add a tailored blazer and you’re ready for your next meeting at work – and you’ll still look very feminine.
I get asked a lot to post more business styles, but since I don’t have a classic job and no experience with these kinds of outfits, I’m definitely not the best source for that. Also, I truly love experimental and extravagant looks – so please forgive me if they’re not always the go-to choice for everyday looks and office-job styles. ;) I want to share my own style, which is something different, I know, but maybe from time to time, there’s also some inspiration for a business look – just like today. ;)

I actually wanted to get → this dress in red, but now I’m more than happy that I got the gray version because it’s much more special. It’s a different color, at least for me, since I don’t have any pieces of this color in my closet.
Also, this dress is just perfect in terms of cut and length (I simply love midis) and the shoulder detail is the prettiest thing I’ve ever seen. The waist detail doesn’t really ask for a belt since it already works great to accentuate your waist and make the dress form-fitted, but I felt a belt would be a nice addition and would give the whole look my own touch. ;)

You all know me, I like to skip the obvious and that’s why I went for beige heels instead of black ones. I think black is too harsh and will somehow break the delicate look – maybe if you choose different accessories to accompany black shoes, they’ll work, but for my look, I just wanted something very feminine and soft.

Finally – here’s the look I wore to my best friend’s wedding! :) It’s been a tough decision between many looks and I’m still super happy that I chose this one. I think it’s just perfect for a wedding, since the colors are light and cheerful, the floral print is a classic, and it’s still in some way casual enough (thanks to the simple shirt) and doesn’t catch too much attention. I just had to wear flats because of the unsteady ground (the wedding party was also outside) and went for → my own wedding shoes, the flat Chanel pearl sandals, which also looked cute with the outfit (and matched the pearl earrings). ;)
