This dress has quickly become one of my go-to favorites since I first wore it for the shoot with Scarlett & Jo back in January. :) It’s such a lovely dress and totally versatile, that’s why today I want to show you a cool and casual style with it. Last time I wore it with some kind of → vintage touch, today it’s all about a stylish look with my denim jacket, new flatform espadrille sneakers and very special → sunnies (which you can get with 15% off until June 10 by using the code LUZIEHTAN15, so don’t hesitate to get yourself some nice shades!).

ASOS bra, boohoo Plus culotte,

I found these amazing Céline boots at TK Maxx for only € 191 – they originally cost around € 1200! Isn’t this crazy? I still can’t understand why they landed at TK Maxx or why they were that much cheaper, but since I actually fell in love with the design before I saw the brand (and was extremely surprised when I saw that they’re Céline!), I just smiled and walked straight to the cashier.
These are the softest leather boots ever and I love the bordeaux color, the heel design and – even though I already got a → pair of boots with the same detail – the zipper in front.

I’ve never really shown this blazer on the blog. I still remember the day when I wanted to buy it: I spent almost an hour thinking if I should buy it or not and finally left the store without it – just to send my husband to the store the next day because I couldn’t live without it. And still it’s one of the pieces I almost never wear because I don’t really like blazers on me. For today’s look it was just perfect, even though it doesn’t have the same color as the shoes, but it’s from the same color family (and the difference is only that big in the pictures).
Styling culottes has become one of my favorite occupations because they’re really not that easy to style and look great with when you’re fat. So that’s why I love trying different things with them and showing you my ideas and maybe inspire you to do the same and be creative with your clothes. Because there are no limits, only possibilities!

One of the special details of the look can’t be seen in the pictures (don’t know why the camera hid it): the shirt I’m wearing is semi-transparent and you can see my bra, that’s why I chose a very special one. Maybe you can see it better on your screen, maybe not, but I really liked the idea. Too bad that sometimes reality is a bit different from the photos (like my height, I really don’t know why I always look so tall…).

All black is my all-time favorite. I’d even say that it’s the most sophisticated look a fashionista can wear and if you add that little special extra (in my case it’s the bright red matte lip color), you’ll look stylish as hell. ;)

Culottes were one of the most interesting clothing pieces of last year. I think they are pretty nice and very versatile, you can create extremely cool looks with them and even though you’re almost wearing shorts in winter, you’ll still stay warm enough. Normally, culottes are a bit longer, but I had mine shortened a little more than usual because I think that I’m actually a bit too short to wear them in calf length. I guess that’s the best style of them for me. :)

I went for an all-black look, wearing a very cozy and comfortable sweater and almost flat boots. My favorite vintage coat is my best friend in winter – you’ve already seen it a lot here on the blog. And its texture somehow even matches my boots. It’s all about the details, right? ;)

We’re getting closer to the finish of my → #BeachBodyNotSorry series – I hope you’re not bored or getting annoyed because I still got at least one look left (and another swimsuit is still on its way!). But today it’s all about me playing geisha at the beach. :)

Unfortunately, my swimsuit is not available anymore, but I found a great alternative at ASOS from → Miraclesuit. Also, my “beach towel” is only a piece of fabric that I tied to a little skirt. The umbrella was a gift at an event by Kenzo, Givenchy and Fendi (and great on their rooftop terrace on a sunny afternoon) – since I was already adding kind of a Japanese touch to my swimsuit with my skirt, I just thought, “why not?” and brought the umbrella with me for my little transformation. ;) I tried to be as dignified and delicate as a real geisha (I really admire their beautiful art and dedication to it!) even though it looks a little clumsy, reminding myself that I’m plus-sized, haha! ;)

Anyways, I liked the idea of joining another movement of the curvy community called #dropthetowel (I won’t link the Instagram tag page as some guys didn’t really get the point…), and even though I already mentioned my little thigh problem in my last beach body post, here’s my thighs and butt in full bloom, just for you. No retouching, no removing of any flaws – just me. And you know what? I feel beautiful. Just like a geisha.
