It’s finally #BeachBodyNotSorry time again! The sun is shining, the temperatures are hot and all we wanna do is go outside and have some fun! I can’t believe that this is already the fourth season of doing this project and still it feels like we all need it from time to time, cause there’s still the myth of “the perfect beach body” – which is total bullshit and nobody should listen to that. You don’t need a skinny body in order to go to the beach or to the pool or wherever you want to wear your bikini or swimsuit. All you need is yourself, your beachwear and the will to have fun. All those people around – except for your friends and family – don’t matter. Even if they give you that awful look: just ignore it. People will always stare, people will always have an opinion (about others, themselves and a lot of unnecessary stuff), some will force them on you, others will discuss it in private, others won’t even notice you. So why the f*** are you giving so much shit about their thoughts or words? ;)

So here we go, starting a new season of #BeachBodyNotSorry – this time, with a bright canary yellow bikini, showing my belly button, my stretch marks, my cellulite and my cream cheese white skin that could definitely use a little more sunshine (but well, I’m either cream cheese white or lobster red, so I’ll go for the feta and use some sunscreen…). ;)

P.S.: Since we got the same bikini in two different colors, there’s a guest in today’s pictures – my friend → Chrissi is wearing the “Maya” bikini in black, with the balcony top, mine is the tulip cup, both bottoms are the full briefs. ;)

I don’t even know how to start this blog post because there’s way too much love involved. This jumpsuit is EVERYTHING. I can’t even say how much I adore this piece!

When I saw the first pictures of Beth Ditto’s collection, the jumpsuit was the first thing I saw (and then the “Lola” dress). I wasn’t sure which design was my favorite and was so happy when I got the chance to try it on in Berlin. It was a decision between the → “Liquid Black” semi-transparent jumpsuit or → “Noir”, the black one, and even though I really liked the “garbage bag look” (I know, many hate it precisely for this look), I went for the opaque black one because it’s just easier to wear more often and combine it in many different ways. Especially because there are many ways to use this little belt and tie it – untied (and you’ll look like a flying squirrel), tied like in my pictures, tied through the inside (there are tiny hidden holes on the sides which you can pull it through) in the front or back, and you could also cross it in front. I guess there are even more ways to werk it but I still have to find out. Anyways, this style here is definitely my favorite.

My first styling with it is all about black and red. I really love the combo of these two colors and, of course, I couldn’t leave the house without fancy sunnies (such a lucky TK Maxx find – I mean, Céline! More than 50% off, I couldn’t resist, even though these shades are pretty special, but that’s just what made me love them even more!) and red lipstick. Signature look, huh? ;)

If there’s one fashion thing that I always repeat, it’s combining black with some colorful details. Black is definitely the most fashionable color – it works for any occasion, fits everyone and always looks classy (or just the way you want it!).

Today, I’m combining black with a longer midi skirt with a colorful brush strokes print. The skirt was instantly sold out at H&M, so unfortunately there’s only one chance for you to (maybe) get it: get up early at around 5 am and have a look at the online shop – that’s when they re-fill their stock and almost everything is available in all sizes.

Of course I couldn’t resist adding some special details like my heels and the glittering sunnies from Miu Miu. I also tried something new: wearing my shoulder bag as a fanny pack. I still think that’s a great idea (especially if you’re not carrying too much stuff around with you) and gives the whole look that very special last touch. Fancy meets classy. Definitely me! :)

Outfit ♥ Denim and Sequins

Denim Jacket: Studio
Dress: Basler
Sneaker: Converse All Star Premium
Sunglasses:
Miu Miu “Noir”
Earrings: Dior “Mise en Dior” Tribal Earrings
Alternatives: Diesel denim jacket, Esprit denim jacket, ASOS Curve dress, Kate Thomas dress, French Connection dress, Junarose dress, ASOS sneaker, Converse sneaker, Quay sunglasses, Jeepers Peepers sunglasses, ASOS earrings

ENMy denim jacket already had its appearance on the blog and will probably have many more – today, I’ve got another combination with a dress for you, but very unusual for me: with flat shoes, so it’s a pretty casual outfit – even though there are sequins involved. ;)
It was kind of a little challenge for me to wear sneakers with a dress, but as the jacket is already down-dressing the floral gown and the shoes are extremely sparkling, I managed to do it – but actual sneakers combined with a dress are an absolute no-go for me, no one will ever convince me to like it. ;) Anyways, this outfit is a nice option for a little shopping trip through the city…

P.S.: Welcome to my new readers from Vietnam! I’m extremely happy about the → article on Ngoisao.net and your positive feedback!
