After all those super cozy winter looks, here’s a more extravagant and risky one. ;) It’s been almost 10 years since the Jimmy Choo x H&M collection launched in 2009 and I’m still wearing this jumpsuit from time to time. It has become a real classic in my closet and I’ll never give it away until it falls apart. :) It’s such a wonderful piece that keeps bringing me joy and all those sexy feels!

You’ve already seen loads of “all black” looks here on the blog and it’s something I really wear a lot but this time, I added something special: a blazer! I really don’t wear them often, unfortunately, cause most of them don’t suit me as well as this one. I’m pretty sad that Murek Hamburg is not on the market anymore because they created so many beautiful clothes and this blazer is one of them. By the way: it’s not as shiny as in the pictures – we’ve tried some special edgy editing for these photos! Somehow, this styling asks for it, right? I love that dark look. :)

The shoes are new and directly from Brazil – my mom got them for me when she went there last time in October. These are my first kitten heel shoes and the thing is, I was always afraid to wear them cause I believed that those short little heels look weird on me, especially cause of my plus-sized body. But here’s the proof that they don’t look weird at all. :) It’s definitely best to try things before refusing them. ;)

So this is my last summer post – and for that special occasion, I’ve got a special outfit for you. Once again, more editorial than everyday but certainly a good choice for a summer party or (if you exchange the body for a swimsuit) the beach. So if you’re still planning on going on a vacay, this may be a bit inspirational. ;)

I wanted to try another transparency style. After → Remi Ray’s amazing sheer dress, I wanted something black and not too extravagant. I guess that this is a look that’s easier to recreate, not too daring but still special enough. :) To ease up the black base of the look, I wore a (finally ready-to-wear!) colorful turban and matching sandals – light colors for a soft styling. But of course, I couldn’t resist wearing another statement – the sunnies. I think they round up the slight 70s touch with the turban, kind of “hippie chic”. ;)

This week, I’ve got two outfits with a very special background for you – the two dresses you’ll see are from Israel, made by Liron Horwitz, a great designer. Her brand’s name is “onchiq” and this is the → first dress with the lovely name “Kiss”. You can also buy it in black, but I fell in love with the stripes design, so I decided to choose this one, even though I’m a huge lover of “all black”. ;)

The detail I really adore about this dress is the design of the sleeves. I don’t know if this style has a special name, but I wish I could find more dresses with such fancy sleeves! :) Of course, I had to do something special for this amazing dress – so I went for some very different sunnies (love the color effect from green to blue!), a gray hat instead of the obvious black one and – these are obvious – red lips. The belt is also from onchiq and actually part of the “Drama” dress. The “Kiss” dress has a striped belt which also looks amazing with the dress, but sometimes it’s all about contrast, right? And for me, it was easier to wear this dress with a wide belt since the upper part is a tiny bit loose because of my smaller bust, so I could hide the remaining fabric under the belt. I know, that’s not how it’s supposed to be done, but it worked and it didn’t come out while walking around and sitting, so this is definitely an option whenever you have a piece that’s a bit too large – wide belt, tuck in, and you’re good to go. ;)

I can’t wait to show you the second look on Friday – this one’s going to be a total “all black” look and very edgy, but I’m sure you’re going to love it! ;)

Well, I really hope that you love this dress as much as I do – because it’s really something different and not my usual style. And that’s just why I love it so much! Isn’t it just amazing? The official name for this print is “Doxtooth” and yes, this makes me happy. The name and the print. I’m definitely a cat lady thanks to my little boy, but I’ve also got a passion for dogs, and since my dad once had a dachshund, I guess this just made me choose this print. :) So first, here’s a huge thanks to Airdrie – Joolz Plus – for sending me this lovely dress!

Second, I have to tell you that this is a perfectly cut piece and the fabric (yes, it’s polyester and I know many hate it – but polyester isn’t always the same, and not necessarily plastic!) is super lightweight and feels great on my skin. It’s a great summer dress and even though it’s a happy and funny dress, I wanted to give it that special sophisticated look. So I went for a matching belt in black and white, a classic hat and black heels – and red sunglasses. I even tried to recreate the color of the sunnies for my lipstick, but it came out a bit more orange – which I actually like, it’s not too forced, you know? ;)
