Now that’s some major flashback to 2009 – this blog post consists of selfies only (I’ll forever remember myself taking the first pictures for my blog, putting my camera on a stack of books, hitting the self-timer and running through my room for some awkward poses)! I took them last weekend when it was super hot and sunny and I just felt like sharing all the fun and good vibrations I was feeling that day. I originally thought of taking these pictures only for Instagram, but then I decided that even though the photos aren’t of super high quality and I’m not wearing any make-up at all, my hair not properly done and without any concept, just on my parents’ terrace, this is real and deserves to be posted. I wanna be real, I’m not a model, I’m a normal person and even after more than 9 years of blogging, I’m still that same person – just fatter, haha! :)

I believe that #BeachBodyNotSorry is also about this – no perfection, just realness and fun. I mean, who wears a full make-up to the beach? I don’t. Most times, I don’t even wear (water proof) mascara, just sunscreen, that’s all. Of course, my blog is about pretty things and taking editorial-like pictures is a lot of fun and I love the results, but I also love these honest pictures. I love that I was having fun, that I was not caring about how I look. And that’s just the message of this project. Don’t care – enjoy yourself. ♥

This is definitely something you’ve never seen before on me – a cute sweater! :)

When I got to choose my outfits for the collaboration, I just couldn’t resist this little fox. I mean, look at this adorable little heart-shaped fluffy chest! :) No seriously, I don’t know why I fell in love with it but I don’t regret it, even though I’m one of those people who keep saying that they don’t want childrens’ stuff on their clothes just because they’re plus-sized – and this happens way too often. This is kind of a phenomenon that’s still not fixed. But there’s definitely nothing wrong with a cute sweater from time to time. ;)

I also have to recommend this jeans. Besides the fact that it’s beautiful and has this gorgeous floral embroidery on one side, these pants are incredibly comfy. So if you’re looking for a new pair of jeans, you should try these. By the way: I’m always wearing a EU size 48 in my C&A posts and pants. ;) Only the → last ones could have been a 46 because it’s extremely stretchy, this one is a little bit firmer, the fabric is a little thicker but I really like the tight fit.

Here it is, the last look of this year’s → #BeachBodyNotSorry project. I’m very sorry and actually pretty sad that I couldn’t provide more different photos and styles but due to my current situation (no beaches, no actual photographer, plus: I was too sad during the summer months) this is all I could do. Now, it’s getting too cold for beach looks but as we all know: next year there’ll be a new summer season and I’m looking forward to new chances and new styles for my most favorite project of the year. :)

Since it’s already pretty cold and also a little bit weird to pose just in a swimsuit on the middle of the street in a small village, I decided to create a pool party look by adding a long kimono and high heels.

This swimsuit might be one of my absolute favorites. I love the print which is kind of watercolor-like. I also love the cut and the fit – even though this is a piece from H&M’s regular collection and “only” EU size 42. Sometimes, it’s worth a try to go for smaller sizes, especially because swimwear is very elastic. Of course, it shouldn’t cut into your skin but I’ve learned that swimwear does not always have to be chosen in your regular size. So that’s just a tip from my side. ;)

It’s been some time! But I’m back with a new outfit. I hope to be able to finally shoot a little more but I hope you can still be a bit patient since I’m still here with only a handful of my clothes. Of course, I brought my all-time favorite with me – the “Modern Love” jumpsuit from Beth Ditto! You’ve already seen it a few times on the blog and I know it’s nothing new but this time it’s a very basic look which I upgraded with a special make-up (Urban Decay’s → “Naked Heat” palette is amazing, you should check it out!).

I wore this look for a ladies’ night out with my mom, the best date one can wish for and we had some delicious sushi. :) I hope you’re all enjoying the last days of summer to the fullest! I’ll try to shoot another #BeachBodyNotSorry look as soon as possible to finish this year’s project. I hope it was enough. :) And I hope that you all spent lots of time out in the sun, showing your bare arms and legs and your happy bellies in bikinis and swimsuits! Soon it’s time to cuddle up in warm clothes again…
