In fashion, there’s nothing as famous as the LBD, the Little Black Dress. Over the years, I’ve managed to create a whole collection of black dresses and many, many outfits with them up here on the blog. The LBD is extremely versatile, looks great on everyone, you can dress it up or down and it’s the perfect match for colorful details. Today, I want to show you my favorite LBD looks in three categories: casual, chic and special, and share a few current online shopping favorites – for everyone who wants to add something new to their wardrobe. :)

Isn’t this cape awesome? I got it last year, now it’s on sale and you can get it → here. I really like that it can be worn as a cape or poncho (just button the sleeves on or off) – I actually prefer the cape version because it makes the body shape more visible.
By the way, I’ve never been a blazer girl. They just never seem to fit me well enough and I feel that I look somehow strange in them. But this blazer cut is very cool, and together with those cape sleeves it made me buy this very special piece. :)
I went for a very business-like look, kind of androgynous with the black pants, no cleavage and the hat. I don’t wear this kind of style very often (even though I got another boyish look coming!) because I definitely prefer feminine outfits with dresses and skirts, but I really like this look on me. And you can definitely make it feminine enough with the right make-up – guess that’s where I transformed it into my own style. ;)

All black is my all-time favorite. I’d even say that it’s the most sophisticated look a fashionista can wear and if you add that little special extra (in my case it’s the bright red matte lip color), you’ll look stylish as hell. ;)
Culottes were one of the most interesting clothing pieces of last year. I think they are pretty nice and very versatile, you can create extremely cool looks with them and even though you’re almost wearing shorts in winter, you’ll still stay warm enough. Normally, culottes are a bit longer, but I had mine shortened a little more than usual because I think that I’m actually a bit too short to wear them in calf length. I guess that’s the best style of them for me. :)
I went for an all-black look, wearing a very cozy and comfortable sweater and almost flat boots. My favorite vintage coat is my best friend in winter – you’ve already seen it a lot here on the blog. And its texture somehow even matches my boots. It’s all about the details, right? ;)

I promise that’s my last look from fall (actually shot on November 1 – you see, we really work a lot in advance…). But our temperatures at the moment are definitely warm enough to make this look wearable. ;) Maybe now with boots and tights instead of peep-toe heels, but still a great everyday outfit. :)
I already showed you my make-up some time ago, so if you like it, feel free to read more about it → here. ;)
Well, to be honest, I don’t have nothing to tell you today. The last days have been pretty sleepy for me. Since I was sick (and finally better now!), I spent Christmas mostly in bed or eating, watching two new series (“The Royals” and “Fear the Walking Dead”) and just chilling. Now it’s time to do the last deeds of the year and wrap it up with a BOOM! :) I’m looking forward to welcoming our friends up here in a few days and celebrate New Year’s Eve with my besties – can’t wait! What are you guys up to on NYE?
