Well, this could probably have been a great look for Halloween – just add a saucy lace mask and you’re good to go! But since Halloween is already over, this is my interpretation of a sensual “Femme Fatale” look. This dress emphasizes a woman’s curves perfectly and has a cut-out just on the right spot. I really love the fabric, it’s a bit heavier and therefore falls very nicely. It’s my favorite dress of the collection, perfect for a very classic look that you can wear in a formal or sexy way – it’s up to you! ;)

For my version, I went for almost nothing around, just a pair of classic high heels and only a few jewelry pieces like my black and silver “Mise en Dior” earrings and my everyday companion, the “Clic Clac” bracelet from Hermès in greige and white with silver hardwear. And to pick up the lipstick: my beloved “Arty Ring” from YSL in dark silver with a purple stone.
All in all, this is a very dark look, considering that I chose a very dark lipstick (it’s not black, it’s an extremely dark purple!). I could have chosen a red one but I wanted to do something different. ;)

Of course, when Anna Scholz creates a new collection, a colorful print won’t be missing – that’s one of the things I love most about Anna’s clothes. You won’t only find flattering black and subtle colors but also very special prints like this retro-inspired one. And of course, I had to combine it with my favorite platform sandals for a perfect 70s look. ;)

I love the color mix and it inspired me to do a special make-up look, which you’ll find in detail on → sheego’s blog “feel happy!” – head over for more pictures and more information about it! ;)

Wrap dresses or “looks like wrapped” dresses (like this one) are the most feminine dresses and probably have the most perfect cut for every woman. They have a very flattering shape and emphasize your curves in the best way possible. Tied in the waist, V-neck, loose skirt – that’s what I love most about them.

Green is definitely my favorite color, especially shades like khaki and olive – perfect colors for fall and also a perfect match for my eye color (green-brown).
This blouse was my first favorite of the new collection and I knew I had to shoot it. While sheego went for a combination with leather pants, I decided to work it with a fake leather midi skirt. Either way, this is a blouse that’s very feminine and gives a special touch to any style, whether you’re wearing pants or a skirt (or culottes, how about giving them a try for this look?).
The oversized houndstooth print also has a detail that I only saw when I looked at the pictures – it’s kind of a goodie for smaller breasts, as the black parts are placed above the bust like a triangle. And we all know: lighter parts stand out while dark spots recede into the background. So if you want to accentuate your bust, this is a blouse to go for. ;) Also, I like the details: the ruffles in the front, the bronze button and the beautiful slightly flared sleeves. And I’m back in the hat game – prepare yourselves for fall and many hat looks (gotta buy a new one, or maybe two – I definitely need a grey hat!).

Part two of my → #BeachBodyNotSorry series up here on the blog is a little more daring – wearing a bikini when you’re fat is still not that funny at the beach (as I had to feel by myself – people were saying rude things and I could hear it!), but I honestly loved it (except for the bad sunburn – I’m kind of still wearing my top…).
Wearing a bikini is kind of a freedom for a fat person. You’re always told to hide your imperfections, get tips on which bikini, tankini or swimsuit is best for your body type (comparing people to fruits – by the way – is something that I find totally stupid, I’m not a pear, I’m body type “human”) to make everything look thinner and smaller and not like yourself anymore. I say: your body type is none of anyone’s business and you’re absolutely allowed to wear whatever the hell you want. And if that’s a bikini: wear it. Period.

For these pictures, I covered up a little (not because I’m afraid to show you my body – you’ll see this when you look at them, but because that’s what the blog post is about! ;)) with this gorgeous dragon print kimono by → Anna Scholz. It’s on sale right now, so if you fell in love just like me – go ahead and make a bargain! And when you’re already at it: have a look at Anna’s gorgeous dresses (you can also get a → dress with the same print as this kimono!). If there’s a plus-size designer who knows how to create a perfect dress for curves, it’s her!
I already had the pleasure to meet Anna a few times (last time on Tuesday at the “Curvy” fair in Berlin) and I’m happy to say that I totally trust her – she knows what plus-size girls need, as she’s always been curvy herself. She knows how to dress curves and her clothes are always on point. Also, I love the utterly beautiful prints that she keeps choosing for her collections – I mean, look at this kimono? Isn’t it just perfect?
Of course, wearing a kimono on a hot day like this (almost 40 °C/104 °F) wasn’t the best idea, but I’d do anything for great pictures (bloggers…). :) Anyways, I’m already looking forward to a very special cooperation for fall with Anna Scholz and sheego – so stay tuned for lots of beautiful dresses! And until then, you can also have a look at my previous Anna Scholz looks → here (this is → my favorite!). ;)
