Another one with my beloved “Modern Love” jumpsuit by Beth Ditto. I can’t stop saying how much I adore this overall – it’s one of the most comfiest pieces I own and it’s also super versatile.

I’ve already shown you two ways to wear it with a jacket and today it’s time to show it without something over it – just the jumpsuit and some basic accessories to accompany the special make-up. I wore this in Berlin at Zizzi’s Fashion Week event for their → collection preview and a lovely rooftop BBQ afterwards at the → Hotel de Rome and it was a great choice for that super sunny and relaxed evening. I wanted to wear something basic yet fashionable but make it a statement by doing an extravagant make-up. I went for a peacock style and used some stunning shades of → Urban Decay’s “XX Vice LTD Reloaded” palette – I can definitely recommend the palette for colorful looks, it’s simply perfect!

One of my classics here on the blog is “all black”. I love completely black outfits, they’re simply amazing. But I truly love colors too and that’s why today I’ll give you a color bomb in “all purple” (yes, I know, the shades of purple aren’t completely identical, but I think that that’s exactly what makes the whole look interesting!).

This is yet another → dress from Scarlett & Jo that’s just perfect for showing your curves and making them look even curvier! ;) And it has the most beautiful cleavage ever! Especially if you have a bit more bust than me – there was some space left to be filled, but even a push-up was no help for me, so… Anyways, it fits true to size and I’m wearing my usual UK 16 (let’s just say that’s my S&J size, there are only a few dresses for which I need to go up a size).

Today’s post title is about the weather when we shot this look – it looked super lovely when we arrived at the location, the sun was shining and it was warm and just a bit windy (like every day in Hamburg), but suddenly the sky turned very, very dark – you can see it in the video! – and we had to hurry. The moment we finished, it started to rain cats and dogs – talk about timing, huh? ;)

Isn’t it funny that just a few days ago, a friend asked me if it’s possible to wear flat sandals with maxi skirts? I think this is the perfect answer! ;) Of course you can wear flats when you wear maxi pieces. It’s certainly true that they won’t make you look taller, but if you’re as short as I am, it doesn’t even matter. Actually, it never matters, as long as you feel good in what you’re wearing – right? And let’s be honest: flats are always more comfy, so they’re always a good choice. ;)

Aaaah, the 70s – I’ve actually never been a great fan of the typical style of the 70s, but since last summer, I’ve started to like a few pieces that fit perfectly into this decade. It’s fun to style yourself in different ways and give everything a chance instead of always saying “no” when it’s not your usual style. So here I am, wearing → this dress from the current Anna Scholz for sheego collection, the second piece of my editorial “trilogy”, and it’s the dress that was most difficult for me to style – just because I’m not used to the cutouts, the paisley print and that whole 70s flair. But (and that’s a huge one): I really love it! I kind of feel like a modern hippie diva and adding my own accessories to the dress was lots of fun. :)

You all know me, I’m always up for a chic look, so after → last time, when I showed you how casual I can be, here’s an elegant version with another lovely dress that’s just perfect for summer. I had to take it one size up for a nicer fit, so I’m wearing a EU46, which I made a bit more formfitted with a small belt that works perfectly with my platform heels. ;) I actually wanted to wear a cognac-colored hat, but unfortunately I don’t own one, so I had to go for black, but I think it’s actually a nice contrast, especially because it’s a straw hat, which makes it not too heavy as the only black piece in this look.
