Today’s outfit is rather casual and something, I actually love to wear everyday: huge and warm sweater, comfy jeans, sneakers – and you’re good to go! :) But this sweater is something very special! I got it from Bauchfrauen, a body positive shop that celebrates the belly with some lovely messages on their clothes and accessories. Mine says “you are beautiful” in German. I wore this sweater for some grocery shopping and it’s cool how it actually made people smile when they saw me and those kind words. So, today’s outfit may not be very special but it’s a gentle reminder that it’s nice to be nice. ;) So if you don’t own a sweater like this one (you should, though!), try to perform some tiny little acts of kindness when you’re out and about: smile, be friendly, share your food with those in need, say something nice to a stranger,… there are so many possibilities to be someone’s reason to be happy – just use them! And mostly: be your own reason to smile. Be beautiful, especially inside. ♥

This winter, I kind of fell in love with striped sweaters. There’s → this cashmere piece and another one from the same brand that I found at the SALE and there’s today’s “Crazy Stripes” sweater from GAP, which is also a SALE find (call me the queen of bargains – whenever I shop, I always find a voucher or reduced pieces or even try to negotiate a bit, in a respectful way!) and therefore not available at the moment, sorry! I found a few nice alternatives, though:

Those bright rainbow stripes look great with anything, but I felt like the colors need to pop and so I went for all black around the sweater – plus a bright neon pink lipstick. Isn’t that a great combination? I’m also so, so happy to finally be able to wear my favorite hat again. It kind of looks weird with short hair but now it’s perfect again! ;)

This outfit would definitely also work with sneakers (like → those) but I feel like especially with my beloved Chewbacca jacket (at the end of this post, you can find other styles with it), it looks a little bit better with heels.

This week, I’ve got two outfits with a very special background for you – the two dresses you’ll see are from Israel, made by Liron Horwitz, a great designer. Her brand’s name is “onchiq” and this is the → first dress with the lovely name “Kiss”. You can also buy it in black, but I fell in love with the stripes design, so I decided to choose this one, even though I’m a huge lover of “all black”. ;)

The detail I really adore about this dress is the design of the sleeves. I don’t know if this style has a special name, but I wish I could find more dresses with such fancy sleeves! :) Of course, I had to do something special for this amazing dress – so I went for some very different sunnies (love the color effect from green to blue!), a gray hat instead of the obvious black one and – these are obvious – red lips. The belt is also from onchiq and actually part of the “Drama” dress. The “Kiss” dress has a striped belt which also looks amazing with the dress, but sometimes it’s all about contrast, right? And for me, it was easier to wear this dress with a wide belt since the upper part is a tiny bit loose because of my smaller bust, so I could hide the remaining fabric under the belt. I know, that’s not how it’s supposed to be done, but it worked and it didn’t come out while walking around and sitting, so this is definitely an option whenever you have a piece that’s a bit too large – wide belt, tuck in, and you’re good to go. ;)

I can’t wait to show you the second look on Friday – this one’s going to be a total “all black” look and very edgy, but I’m sure you’re going to love it! ;)

Do you remember this skirt? → Last time, I wore it as a top with jeans. ;)
This time, I’m wearing it with a nude body and some funny accessories: a dotted scarf instead of adding more stripes, and a gray hat with a fuzzy detail instead of a plain black one (which also looks great with this look, but I wanted something special).

I think we’re not completely ready to say that spring is on its way (it even snowed in my hometown a few days ago and also a little bit here in Hamburg), but I’m happy to see that at least the days are getting longer, there’s also a bit of sunshine from time to time and maybe you could also say that it’s a little bit warmer. So here I am, starting to show you some inspiration for spring looks. Because I really believe that we all don’t want to see this cold anymore! :)
