I finally found a piece with bell sleeves that I really like: this heavy knit dress is absolutely amazing! It’s not only the sleeves – I’m in love with the fabric, the cut, the back, the color. Definitely an awesome piece for fall and something to reveal a darker side of me. ;) It’s not that dark, but I think that the whole look is something different. I really love it!

First, I wanted to add a belt, but then I had this idea: why not just draw some attention to the middle with a brooch, why not “misuse” it and wear a brooch instead of a belt? And I must say that I’m absolutely amazed by my idea and how cool it looks. I mean, it’s the same as wearing a statement belt, as wearing a belt from Chanel, but with the funny fact that it’s just the buckle. ;)
I’m not 100% happy with the boots, though. It was really hard to find shoes to wear with this dress and I really don’t know why! Maybe you’ve got an idea which shoes could be a better match (I was thinking about → these, but they didn’t look good)?

Earlier this month, I had my shopping day with the winners of the C&A giveaway. I’ll tell you more about it in my monthly recap, but this is one of two looks I found on that day. This one is a bit more classic and elegant, the other one more casual (→ here’s a sneak peek!).

Trousers have become a very rare sight here on the blog and also in my closet. The whole look is very unusual for me, since I don’t really like blazers on me (at least, this one doesn’t really look like one), and pants, well, I simply prefer dresses and skirts. That’s just the way it is. ;)

But from time to time, I like to do something different and try new things, and I felt like it when we strolled through the whole store (what a day – we spent almost five hours in there!). I’m curious to read what you think about it, since you don’t see me like this very often. I must say that I have to get used to these pants, but I like how they complete the look in the best way possible because of the pattern of the blazer. :) Wouldn’t be the same with a skirt!

Just like I explained in my last outfit post, fashion allows us to be who we want, and we can make a new decision every time we’re in front of our closet. ;) So last time, I wanted to wear a very tight and colorful dress – this time, I went for a very classic and sophisticated look, including a new piece in my jewelry collection: my first Chanel brooch! :) I actually wanted to shoot this outfit earlier, but when I finally had some luck at the store (every time I went there, they didn’t have any at all, but last time there were about 12 different brooches!), I instantly knew that this was exactly that last detail to complete this look. :)

People always say that fat girls can’t wear (horizontal) stripes – why’s that? I love stripes and I don’t care if they make me look fatter than I already am. That’s another thing about fashion that people need to start to understand: fashion is not about making you look thinner. Fashion is about the freedom I mentioned in my last post, the freedom to wear whatever I like, whatever pleases my own taste. And if someone else doesn’t like it – hell, I don’t give a single f***. And neither should you. ;)
