Hands up – who loves cupcakes as much as I do? :) I’m so thankful we got to shoot a comfy outfit in Ansbach’s lovliest café and cupcake shop, “Danys Cupcakery” (Kronenstraße 2a). Only cruel fact: it was closed on that Monday when we had our photo shoot so I couldn’t try Dany’s famous cupcakes, but that was kind of helpful so we had the whole store for us. I’m pretty sure that if Dany had opened her store on that day, we would have had no place to shoot plus you could have found me behind dozens of cupcakes and not take a good picture at all (cause I look pretty weird eating on photos, → here’s an example of me eating a cookie). I’m definitely coming back to try all of them, okay Dany? :)

So, this cute and cozy location called for a matching outfit – and there’s nothing better than some light pink, right? When I saw this sweater, it was love at first sight. I haven’t been much fond of those ruffles sleeves before but these are so amazing (even though they’re not super practical, especially when you want to wear a jacket, but the sweater is pretty warm so you probably won’t need a cardi or coat). It is actually from Ted Baker’s lounge wear collection and therefore supposed to be worn at home (who the hell would wear something like that at home? I wear my pajamas all day at home, haha!) and to be honest, I found it kind of hard to combine for myself. It wouldn’t look good with jeans, with black pants, with anything, except these cashmere pants (which are about three sizes too large but nevermind ;)). And since it has kind of a boxy cut, I needed to wear it tucked into my pants. That was the only way to make it look perfect for myself. But I’ll keep trying. There are actually matching pants from Ted Baker, but I’m sure my huge bottom won’t fit into it so I didn’t even try and order them. :D I have to see if there’s a way to style it with a skirt, so I can show you a different look with this beauty.

Last year, I finally opted for my first cashmere sweater. It was in the SALE and I’ve never worn a cashmere piece before (except for a beanie that keeps my head warm on super cold days), so it was also very exciting for me to put it on. And I truly fell in love with that cozy and soft fabric. Funnily, only a few days after that, C&A gifted me with a pair of grey → cashmere pants and let me say it like that: I feel like a fluffy little bundle of warm joy in that combo – but it’s clearly not one to actually go out (especially cause the pants are about three numbers too big, haha – but they’re the perfect home wear for icy winter days!), so I paired my sweater with some casual jeans and my teddy coat. Aaaaand my new winter boots – another SALE find and the best one ever, since I’ve been living in these boots for a few weeks now, they’re comfy, they’ve got perfect soles for snow and ice and they’re still super special and fashionable (and my love for pearls goes crazy with them!).

So, what you can see here, is a typical casual look that I love to wear every day. :) As I told you already, the last months actually brought me back to enjoying casual outfits and easy styles since I didn’t have all my clothes for more than half a year – and you’ve also read my → “new year, new me” post that certainly applies to my fashion me, too. But don’t worry, I’m still the extravagant person you all love – and there are some very exciting looks coming! ;)

I can’t believe that this is already the last look of my collaboration with C&A – and that Christmas is right around the corner! Only four more days to go!

To be honest, I’m not super christmassy this year. Maybe because of my situation with the separation but also because we never celebrated Christmas too much. It’s always been a cozy day at home, with some delicious food (the last years I cooked my famous duck breast with either dumplings or home-made mashed sweet potatos and red cabbage). This year’s Christmas looks a lot like raclette, something I really adore, and I’ll spend the evening with my parents – a super familiar and cozy atmosphere. Maybe we’ll also play some board games and drink mulled wine. I’ll leave that to mom and dad to choose. ;)

This outfit is definitely a nice choice for Christmas Eve, a mixture of comfy (the cardi) and elegant (the blouse) and a nice pair of jeans. :) Can’t do anything wrong with that, right? The blouse also comes with a delicate necklace with little stars and even though I’m not a necklace person, I decided to wear it and: I like it! :) It makes the whole look a little more festive. ;)

It’s getting cozy again! Today’s look is super comfy and perfect for those rainy and snowy days before Christmas! :) All you need is a leggings, a sparkling sweater (love the two-in-one look with that sheer part below!) and a warm coat. This one was a huge surprise cause it is the most amazing (short) coat I’ve ever owned and I’ve already been using it so often – it’s definitely my favorite piece of this year’s winter season. As usual, most of the pieces are already sold out online, but again, I want to let you know that checking the shop more often is totally worth it, especially on Sunday evening – seems like they update their stock around that time. ;)
