Green is my favorite color – and I truly love khaki green, it’s the shade of green that fascinates me the most. Of course, I was instantly in love when I saw that Anna Scholz created a → khaki green lace dress for the new collection in collaboration with sheego and I knew that it was going to be one of the three pieces I’d choose for → my lookbook.

Not only is this dress super comfy because of the very soft fabric but it’s also easy to wear in different styles. You can wear it casually with espadrilles and a denim jacket, for example, or style it more elegantly with high heels and some statement jewelry.

I’ve decided to go for a modern but chic look and therefore did some expected and also some unexpected accessorizing. First, the shoes – I guess, black is always the safe choice, but I kinda felt like it would be a bit too dark since the dress already has a black base and I wanted to loosen it all up. That’s why I went for beige. And then, there’s the belt – of course, the dress looks nice without it, but I went for a size up (46 instead of 44 like with most of the Anna Scholz for sheego dresses) and that’s why the waistline was a bit too loose and also too low for my body shape. Nothing a belt can’t fix. ;) And I love accentuating my waist, so it was kind of obvious that I’d go for a belt.

I finally officially present: my skirt! :) Well, you’ve already seen it, but today I want to show you my very own pictures of and for the first piece I’ve ever designed. ♥ It was such a special feeling to create something and even though there were a few guidelines regarding the fabrics, this is something that comes right out of my mind.

From tomorrow, you’ll be able to buy it online at → mable. I’ll update the link as soon as the collection is available! So don’t forget to drop by again! ;)
Update: GET THE SKIRT NOW HERE!

Of course, my first piece of clothing had to be a skirt, a flared one. And if I wasn’t that small, this would actually be a calf-length skirt. ;) But to be honest, I like this length on me! Taller women will experience the planned length, though. ;)

I wanted to use almost all of the fabrics of the collection, that’s why the skirt consists of a very special mix of emerald velvet, red patent leather and that beautiful transparent branches fabric. I like the extravagant mix and as you know me: it can never be special enough. :) The official “Witchcraft” look with the cut-out shirt (also from mable) and a large-brimmed hat is definitely a statement and not for every day (even though removing the hat already makes it less “witchy”), but I promise that you can easily wear this skirt for a night out and even “downdress” it a little. ;) There will be another look with it on the blog as soon as possible!

I also want to thank Katja again for trusting in me and making this first collaboration happen. I want to translate what I already answered to the question why I’ve done this with mable:

“Definitely because young designers are the future, not only in the “normal” fashion world but also and especially in the plus-size fashion world. We need fresh ideas and designers who dare to turn them into reality. From the beginning, mable has always been a brand that, for me, stands for pure creativity and that actually tries out new things. Also, it’s surely great to finally launch something that I can call my own. I’m more than excited to see the response to it, which at least was completely positive at the → Plus Size Fashion Days 2016 – the cheering when I presented my skirt on the runway is something I’ll never forget!”

I hope you enjoy today’s post with more pictures than usual and a video that’s a little longer – guess this is the best occasion for some overload of everything. ;)

Oh, silk dresses – it’s a love-hate relationship. On the one hand, there’s nothing more pleasant to wear. On the other hand, silk’s the worst of all materials when it comes to wrinkles (short quote from one of my Instagram live chats when I wore the dress: “Silk is the asshole of all fabrics.” – true that.). Hello iron, my best friend! :D

Anyways – I love the colors of this striped dress and I also love the length. Instead of using the actual belt (the dress comes with a matching thin silk band), I opted for something more special: my Gucci crossbody bag which I changed into a fanny pack. :) Definitely more fashion, right?

About the shoes – I never thought that I’d ever own golden shoes, especially not loafers, but when I saw them, I kind of had to buy them. And today’s look was just perfect for their first time on the road. ;)

I guess nobody here knows about my weird obsession with Finland. I fell in love with the country when I was about 14 years old – because of the band Rasmus. I listened to their songs every day, knew all of them by heart (a few even still today!) and was pretty sure that one day, I’d marry the lead singer (instead, I named a cute little cat Lauri). I’ve never been there yet (shame on me – anybody who wants to go with me?), but when I was young, I owned the Finnish flag and it hung on the wall in my room, I had ICQ friends from Finland who had to send me Finnish stuff and I even tried to learn the language, but all I can say now is that I’m not feeling very well (“minulla on huono olo” – at least that’s what I learned). And there are even more crazy stories I won’t tell now. ;) Good thing I have a lovely friend, → Hanna, who’s Finnish and helped me with today’s blog post title. ;) And who made it happen that I can show you a Finnish outfit today – from the brand “Excuse My BonBon”. :)

This is actually a tunic but as we all know by now, for your favorite Human McNugget they’re always dresses (even though they’re mostly pretty short, but that’s why I wear something opaque underneath). Even though I haven’t posted it on the blog yet, I’ve already worn it a few times, for example at my → C&A shopping day event (with leggings and biker boots) or → at the Vollkommen.Braut. store opening (with a pencil skirt). Even though it has a very delicate print, this is a versatile piece which can be worn for many different occasions – from casual to chic. For today’s look, I just went for a basic look with knee-high boots and a small patent belt, combined with my lovely “Dionysus” bag and a very natural make-up look, using different shades of brown and beige. P.S.: I’m wearing size 44/46 and the fit is perfect. No need to size up or down, no matter how you’re planning on wearing the tunic. :)
