I’m finally ready to show you all photos and the video of this year’s → Plus Size Fashion Days in Hamburg. It’s been an incredibly exciting time and I’m proud to say that this was my third time on the catwalk and I’ve been booked by so many brands – it was a pleasure and honor to walk for them and it’s so great to know that they trust me to represent them.

Above, you can see a picture from the rehearsal – this is my most casual self: black leggings, black t-shirt, sneakers and a cozy cardigan (it was pretty cold at the location during the training, fittings and rehearsals).

As every year, I feel like these are the most intense days of the year. I’m pretty sure, actual models don’t think so as this is their job – but for me as the tiny nugget I am, this is something so special and exciting and at the same time horribly exhausting because there’s so much to do around the final result, the fashion show. It’s very stressful, positively, though, but I’m pretty much completely useless after the event. Plus, this year, I got very sick afterwards. But it’s worth it. This is such an important event, with such a honorable message. An event of true diversity in terms of plus size, with people of different sizes, different heights, different skin tones, different stories, beginners and professionals, women and men. And this is exactly what the world needs. ♥

Here we are – I’m sorry for the lack of posts because of my stay at home around my birthday (thanks for all your lovely birthday wishes!!), but I’m finally back with some new outfits and a new haircut. Since everybody has been asking a lot if I’m letting my hair grow: yes! I just need some kind of change for some time, but of course I’ll always come back to short hair in the end. It’s just that a little change never hurts and I kind of feel like going for a bit longer hair again – and blonde! I really wanna be blonde again, like → here or → here. As you can see, I’m already a tiny bit blonder and my baby pony tail is gone because that was mostly neck hair growing out and I really needed a fresh cut. Now, my hair is ready to grow coordinately and will hopefully be good for my next appointment at my hair magician – we’ve got some things in mind… :)

About my look: as you can see, this is a totally casual look and it’s a style I’m wearing super often because I first fell in love with the bomber jacket and then with the whole look. You know I’m always kind of a overdressed glam girl, but this is what I love to wear for running errands or simply casual dates with my friends. And still, it has that kind of special touch because of the glitter details on the satin jacket, the transparent sweater and the ripped jeans (yay – more jeans!). ;)

Beaded Collar: Vintage
Fake Fur Collar: ASOS
Pumps: Happy Size
Bracelet: Hermès

It’s Christmas week! :) Today and on Friday, I’ll show you my last two looks for Christmas and hopefully inspire you to find your own style for the holidays!

Today’s outfit is all about that vintage flair – with an actual vintage piece I got from my mother – it’s the beaded collar! Instead of wearing a necklace or other statement jewelry, I decided to go for something completely different and I must say that this is the best idea I’ve ever had because the whole look is so special – just because of this detail! Of course, this dress is already an absolute stunner for all festive occasions and actually doesn’t need any accessories (just have a look at the → dress in the online store – and if you order today, with a little bit of luck you can still get the dress or another S&J piece in time for Christmas [but no guarantee from my side]! And P.S.: next Monday, I’ll show you the perfect dress for New Year’s Eve! ;)).

As it is pretty cold outside, I wanted to add a second collar. You’ve already seen this fake fur collar a few times up here and I always find a different way to wear it (you can see the other styles at the end of this post!) – this time, it looks like an open bolero jacket. :) It also rounds up that glamorous touch of the whole look.

By the way (and you’ll definitely notice it when you’re watching the video ;)): → these shoes are too large for my little feet, but they are so great ’cause they have the same color as the dress (well, almost, 99%!), so I wore them for this shoot but I just can’t walk in them properly, so I was thinking about giving them to someone who’ll be able to wear them. They’re a EU37 but they fit more like a 38 or even 39 (and I’m usually a 37.5). So if you fell in love with them, please leave a comment (and don’t forget to type in your e-mail address in the corresponding field or comment with your actual FB account so I can write you) – first come, first serve, and you’ll only have to pay for your preferred shipping. :)

Mango blouse, ASOS skirt,
ASOS Curve skirt, Lost Ink pumps

Well, maybe this is a business look inspiration – maybe not, but it’s definitely something I’d like to wear in an office. Not in mine, though, because at home in front of my computer, I mostly wear my pajamas, haha! ;) That’s why I don’t post so many business looks… ;)

The whole outfit was actually planned in a completely different way – I was supposed to try on the blouse with some short dungarees and my leather jacket. But since the dungarees were sold out, I had another idea up my sleeve – pencil skirt and short blazer! And again – my glasses, because I figured you like them and I want to keep showing them from time to time. A perfect look for all business ladies. ;)

I must say that I’m so happy with each single piece of this look. The blazer was such a lucky buy (it originally costs around €1000 and I got it for €250!) and looks amazing with any more elegant outfit. The skirt is the only pencil skirt ever to work for me and my figure because it’s tight enough around the knees. And the blouse is great because the cut fits (this is a EU 46 and it’s not too loose around the bust but still goes over my hips without any problems, yay!) and it looks so cool – a great basic to own! And yes, the glasses – did I ever tell you their story? I saw a woman on the train wearing them and was completely enchanted until I finally had the guts to ask her where she got them (just a few minutes before she left), and she was so kind as to let me write down the model number. I then found the glasses in Brazil but they were completely overpriced. In the end, I got them online at some no-name glasses store (lucky me – they were no fake).
