What. An. Amazing. Summer. It’s unbelievable how hot and sunny this year’s summer is! It’s just perfect, even though I wish it was just a little less hot cause I’m literally melting. Especially cause I had to work this week and it’s definitely too hot in a food truck. But it’s summer and I’m thankful that it’s so wonderful – everything is different, people are happy, we’re all in a very special mood, you can sit outside until you fall asleep on the balcony (happened to me, whoops), you can have ice cream all day long,… I mean, the last time I remember a summer like this, was probably 1995 or so. :) Childhood summers were always the greatest. And somehow, it feels like a childhood summer again.

Anyways, this heatwave calls for less clothes than usual, so first thing I want to say is: PLEASE don’t care about what other people could think or say – it’s way too hot to hide yourself in too much fabric. Just wear whatever the heck you want, be as naked as you feel like (not completely naked where it’s not allowed, tho, haha!) and always remember to give zero fucks if someone complains about your look. ;) You’ve got better things to do in this summer. Like swimming. Or having another ice cream. Or just trying not to drown in your own sweat. Period.

I still had no chance to wear this dress, but we already shot it so I can show you my perfect summer date night look. And I really hope to find a perfect male match for this outfit, so we can go out and have the greatest date ever! :)

So, today, I’ve got something completely new for you – not in terms of fashion at all, but new for me. I thought it’s kind of a cool combination to wear a transparent dress under my sweater but over my jeans. I know this may not be everyone’s taste but I really loved it and it’s actually pretty subtle and also wearable with sneakers (but looks more fashionable in the pictures with my mules) – definitely also a daytime look. :)

Hands up – who loves cupcakes as much as I do? :) I’m so thankful we got to shoot a comfy outfit in Ansbach’s lovliest café and cupcake shop, “Danys Cupcakery” (Kronenstraße 2a). Only cruel fact: it was closed on that Monday when we had our photo shoot so I couldn’t try Dany’s famous cupcakes, but that was kind of helpful so we had the whole store for us. I’m pretty sure that if Dany had opened her store on that day, we would have had no place to shoot plus you could have found me behind dozens of cupcakes and not take a good picture at all (cause I look pretty weird eating on photos, → here’s an example of me eating a cookie). I’m definitely coming back to try all of them, okay Dany? :)

So, this cute and cozy location called for a matching outfit – and there’s nothing better than some light pink, right? When I saw this sweater, it was love at first sight. I haven’t been much fond of those ruffles sleeves before but these are so amazing (even though they’re not super practical, especially when you want to wear a jacket, but the sweater is pretty warm so you probably won’t need a cardi or coat). It is actually from Ted Baker’s lounge wear collection and therefore supposed to be worn at home (who the hell would wear something like that at home? I wear my pajamas all day at home, haha!) and to be honest, I found it kind of hard to combine for myself. It wouldn’t look good with jeans, with black pants, with anything, except these cashmere pants (which are about three sizes too large but nevermind ;)). And since it has kind of a boxy cut, I needed to wear it tucked into my pants. That was the only way to make it look perfect for myself. But I’ll keep trying. There are actually matching pants from Ted Baker, but I’m sure my huge bottom won’t fit into it so I didn’t even try and order them. :D I have to see if there’s a way to style it with a skirt, so I can show you a different look with this beauty.

I promised you more pants on the blog – here we are again with some new jeans! Even though you already know these ones in gray from → this post. I love these jeans so much and I’m happy that I received the blue version too (this time normal length because the petite length wasn’t available and EU size 46 because it’s super elastic and my gray one is already pretty loose!) so I can wear jeans more often. ;)

Good news for one lucky girl: I’m giving away a denim package with sheego, including three pairs of jeans of the winner’s choice!

All you have to do to enter the giveaway is answer the following question in the comments by February 28 (terms and conditions at the end of this blog post):

“How do you like to wear your jeans?”

Here’s my answer: as you’ve probably noticed, jeans are still not that typical for me, even though I do wear them more often for running errands – but not as an actual outfit. Anyways, I prefer the casual version or some kind of mix like this one here. And shhh – the next outfit on the blog will also be a jeans look, even more casual than this one. ;) And with my new hair cut!

The winner is Viola Zucker – congrats!
