DEIch gebe zu, ein bisschen vorschnell ist das ja schon so mit Maxikleid. Aber zu meiner Verteidigung muss ich sagen: es war warm (ja, ich trage keine Strumpfhose!), ich bin ja sowieso nicht ganz so fröstelig und es war einer der schönsten Sonntage seit Langem! Sehr viel mehr muss ich da doch gar nicht sagen, oder?

Das Kleid wartet nun schon seit einiger Zeit auf seinen Einsatz (ich hab’ es erst nach letztem Sommer im SALE erwischt und da war es schon zu kalt dafür), also konnte ich es mir aus dem Grund auch nicht mehr verkneifen. ;) Mit Jeansjacke drüber sind auch die Schultern geschützt, bis es wirklich warm genug für Sonnencremes statt Jacken ist und bis dahin hab’ ich mir in dem Outfit schon mal ein bisschen Laune auf Sommer und Co. gemacht – mit einem Venti Iced Chai Latte (ich liebe das Zeug!). :)
Seid ihr auch schon bereit für lange Abende draußen, Kanufahren und Schwimmen im See, den unwiderstehlichen Duft von Hitze, Sonnencreme und Sommerregen und all die schönen Dinge, die im Sommer einfach mehr Spaß machen? :)

Let’s be honest: already wearing a maxi dress is a little too optimistic, but I have to say that it was definitely warm enough (no tights!), I’m almost never cold and this has been one of the most beautiful Sundays for a long time! ‘Nuff said, right? ;)
I bought this dress at the end of last summer – so this now was the first chance to finally wear it (another reason for a maxi dress right now!), and adding a denim jacket kept my shoulders warm until it is replaced with sunscreen. ;) For now, I had a tiny little summer moment outside, drinking a Venti Iced Chai Latte (I love it!) and dreaming of long evenings outside, canoeing and swimming in the lake, the irresistible scent of heat, sunscreen and summer rain and all those things that are just more fun in summer… I can’t wait anymore, what about you? :)

DEErst mal ein herzliches Willkommen an alle neuen Leser – heute Mittag lief mein kleiner Beitrag bei “drehscheibe” im ZDF (→ hier könnt ihr ihn in der Mediathek nochmal sehen, ab Minute 43:25) und ich muss sagen: ich bin doch ziemlich stolz auf mich. :) War doch ganz gut, oder? :)

Im Beitrag habe ich ganz kurz Capes und Ponchos als den Herbsttrend erwähnt (am Ende trage ich übrigens → dieses wunderschöne Stück von Samoon), also passt es ganz gut, dass direkt ein Look mit Cape kommt. ;)
Mein rotes Cape hat ziemlich lang im Kleiderschrank geschlummert, erst beim Umzug habe ich es wieder rausgekramt und auch direkt wieder sichtbar zu meinen Jacken gehängt. Ich hatte es damals für das → Shooting mit Gillette und unserem 2011er-GNTM Jana Beller gekauft und durfte es hinterher glücklicherweise behalten – was mir jetzt ganz recht kommt. Ich denke, das wird ein richtig schöner Cape-Herbst (noch ist es ja ziemlich schön draußen!) und vielleicht schaue ich mich sogar mal nach einem zweiten Teil um.

Der Look heute ist natürlich nicht ganz so alltagstauglich – eher was für abends, dank dem deutlich sichtbaren Body. Ich wollte mal was ausprobieren und hatte dieses transparente Top mit der Raubkatzenapplikation von mat. da, das ich irgendwie tragbar machen wollte. Es ist “one size” und für mich wieder mal eher ein Kleid und riesig, weshalb ich ein bisschen überlegen musste, wie ich es tragen kann. Dann kam mir die Idee mit dem Body, quasi zwei Mal transparent übereinander, womit es dann doch blickdicht wird. Zusammen mit der Leggings und den Boots, ein eher rockiger, sexy Style – mal wieder etwas ungewohnter von mir, aber ich find’s ziemlich gut! :)

Übrigens war es ein kleines Dilemma, die Fotos zu machen – wir konnten leider erst abends für ein paar Minuten raus. Leider war es schon so dunkel (ich nehme das mit dem “schönen Herbst” wieder zurück, haha!), dass die Fotos sehr körnig und extrem dunkel geworden sind. Glücklicherweise kriege ich das mit der Licht-Bildbearbeitung mittlerweile einigermaßen hin – die übliche Qualität haben die Fotos aber natürlich nicht. Seid also bitte nachsichtig – immerhin ist ein neuer Post da. ;)

ENFirst, I’d like to welcome all new readers – today, my little story was on TV and I have to say that I’m really proud. :) It was a very nice report and I really like it. You can watch it again → here. ;)

I mentioned capes and ponchos as this fall’s trend, so here’s my red cape look. Pretty edgy and something for a night out, as my semi-transparent body is mostly visible. ;) I just wanted to try something new and layer transparent fabrics – I got this top from mat., it’s more like a dress for me (it’s huge!), so I had to figure out how to wear it. I really like the rock style combination with the leggings and this whole sensual mix with the red cape. It’s something different and not typical me but I really like it!

DEEinen ersten herbstlichen Look zeige ich euch heute schon mal, hier mit meinem liebsten Strickjäckchen in grau, bei meinem neuesten → navabi Style Council Artikel mit einer schwarzen Lederjacke, zusammen mit meinen Herbstfavoriten. :)

Der Jumpsuit in schwarz-weiß mit weiten Beinen und dem (ich hab’ es erst auf den zweiten Blick erkannt) Giraffenprint hat es mir schon länger angetan, aber als ich ihn endlich in der Hand hatte, war es schon zu kalt, um ihn einfach so zu tragen. Jetzt ist die Sonne natürlich wieder zurück, aber ich hab’ das Ganze einfach mal etwas herbstlicher kombiniert – und somit den Beweis, das man auch die liebsten Sommerklamotten im Herbst noch tragen kann. ;)
Eigentlich mag ich den Jumpsuit wirklich sehr, in echt sieht er auch wirklich toll aus – auf den Fotos trägt er leider ziemlich auf. Schade drum, aber manchmal ist es eben so, dass Fotos was anderes zeigen als das, was wirklich da ist. ;)

Insgesamt ist das ein recht dunkler Look, da ich mal wieder Lust auf Smokey Eyes hatte und mit leichter Undone-Frisur, die einfach ein bisschen wilder aussehen sollte als sonst (meine Helfer: “Texture Wave” von Shu Uemura, “Dry Wash” und “Stay Strong” von Paul Mitchell).

ENToday I want to show you a first fall look, wearing my favorite fuzzy gray cardigan – you can find a different styling in my new → Style Council article for navabi, for which I combined the jumpsuit with a black leather jacket, and my other fall favorites. :)

I already fell in love with this black-and-white wide-legged jumpsuit with giraffe print some time ago, but when I had the chance to take some pictures, the weather was already too bad to wear it without a jacket – so that’s my proof that you can still wear your favorite summer clothes when it’s colder. ;)
I actually really like the jumpsuit and it looks great – but in the pictures it unfortunately makes me look pretty heavy. That’s too bad, but sometimes photos show something else than reality. ;)

Overall, this is a pretty dark look as I wanted to wear some smokey eyes and kind of an undone hairdo which I wanted to look a little bit wilder than usual (my little helpers: Shu Uemura’s “Texture Wave”, Paul Mitchell’s “Dry Wash” and “Stay Strong”).

DEDer erste Look im neuen Jahr ist zwar einer (von zweien) aus dem letzten Jahr, darf aber auf keinen Fall ungezeigt bleiben. Bevor es also im neuen Jahr mit neuen Looks weitergeht, möchte ich euch die beiden übrigen Outfits noch zeigen. :)

Für meinen → navabi Style Council Artikel habe ich ingesamt drei Outfits gestylt – zwei davon in Jumpsuits und einen eher businessartigen Look (schreit ein bisschen nach Sekretärin, ihr werdet sehen, was ich meine, wenn ihr entweder den Artikel lest oder das Outfit dann hier seht). Den → ersten Jumpsuit-Look habe ich euch schon gezeigt, jetzt kommt der zweite, mit einem Jumpsuit, der mir noch ein Stückchen besser gefällt. :) Insgesamt soll es auch hier wieder ein gemütliches, aber trotzdem schickes Outfit sein – dafür sorgt nicht zuletzt auch der Schmuck. Sind die Ohrringe nicht toll? Ich hab’ mich schwer verliebt in die “Peacock”-Ohrringe, die jetzt natürlich im SALE sind. Pech für mich, da ich den Originalpreis gezahlt habe (zum Glück aber nicht allzu viel teurer), Glück für euch, falls ihr jetzt auch so verliebt seid. :)

Übrigens: einen Rückblick auf meine liebsten Outfits 2013 werde ich auch noch posten und eine kleine Neuerung gibt’s bereits heute – wenn ihr in der Navi-Leiste unter Outfits auf die Jahre klickt, könnt ihr alle Outfits sehen, die ich im jeweiligen Jahr gepostet habe. :)

The first look of the new year is actually one (of two) of last year, but of course deserves to be posted. So before I show you new looks, I’d like to share these two outfits with you. :)

I styled three outfits for my → navabi Style Council article – two with jumpsuits and one that’s rather business-like (looking kind of like a secretary – you’ll see what I mean if you have a look at the article or when I post the complete look here). I’ve already showed you the → first jumpsuit look, now here’s the second one, with a jumpsuit that I actually like even better. :)
All in all, I wanted to create a cozy and comfy but chic outfit – especially the jewelry provides for that. Aren’t the earrings great? I totally fell in love with the “peacock” earrings, which – of course – are now in the sale. Bad for me as I had to pay the full price (at least it wasn’t that much more), good for you if you fell in love, too. :)

By the way: I’ll post a review of my favorite outfits of 2013 in the near future, and there’s something new: a click on the years under the Outfits tab in the navigation bar opens an overview of all the looks I posted in the respective year. :)
