All red today! I know, it’s a lot of red – and I love it! :) I first saw this dress on the dearest → Melodie Michelberger and had to order this dress when it was on SALE. It’s such an amazing piece and can be worn with or without the matching belt (or a different one), as well as with these → showstopper boots in red or black flat ones or high heels, or or or – there are so many possibilities! It’s truly a great dress and I don’t regret buying it (even though it’s 55% linen and this fabric officially hates me, haha!). And can we please talk about this cute bunny print? At first, you can’t even recognize those little bunnies because it just looks like an abstract painting but yup, these are cute little bunny butts. :) Should’ve shown you this before Easter… shame on me, oops. But that’s certainly not an Easter dress – you can wear it whenever and wherever you want! ;)

I got this wonderful dress for my birthday – isn’t it amazing? Even though I’ve been wearing a lot of pants recently, my heart’s still beating for dresses, especially floral ones. ;) And hats! That’s probably one of the good things up here where I’m right now: it’s not as windy as in Hamburg, which makes it easier to wear hats without living in fear of losing them thanks to half a storm outside. :) But I still miss the wind, a lot.

I’ve been in Hamburg from last Thursday until Monday and even though the wind is kind of annoying, you can actually miss it. Sitting at the harbor and letting it ruin your hairdo is probably one of the best feelings in the world. ♥ I’ll tell you more about my little Hamburg trip in my next recap of the month, so stay tuned for some Hamburg melancholia. ;)

I know, I know, it’s super cold these days – at least it wasn’t, when we took these pictures. :) And the jacket is kind of warm plus the overknee boots are a good choice to keep your legs warm when  you’re wearing a short jumpsuit. To be honest, I’m still no fan of shorts cause they always go up between my thighs and I have to keep pulling on them all the time, but they look so nice! Haha!

Unfortunately, none of the pieces seem to be available anymore (most of them are already old, though), so I searched for some alternatives and you can find them below.

Finally: the actual plan I had for my red overknees! :) This outfit has been in my mind since I saw the dress at the PSFD and I’m glad it looks so amazing (at least, that’s what I think)! I love the unexpected combination of that bright red with the kind of muted colors, it makes the outfit definitely special. Special enough to be the last outfit of 2017! Can you believe that the year is almost over? I know it’s not a NYE party look but I guess you could also wear that to a great night out, so why not post it as the last one of the year? :)

Of course, I’m planning my recap of the year and will talk about the outfits, too. ;) So stay tuned for the next few posts about 2017 (also got a music recap planned that’s going online as the first post of the “JahresrückBLOG 2017”!). ;)
