Before I show you the last outfit of my Anna Scholz for sheego lookbook, I’ve got an exclusive denim look for you that I styled in collaboration with sheego. This is actually kind of an official sheego look which I just altered with my own ideas – I didn’t even know it (guess I should apply as a brand stylist, haha!) until I saw my dear → Jules wearing it. ;)

I know that culottes aren’t everybody’s darling. People still stick to the opinion that they’re not flattering, especially when you’re short and/or fat. The thing is: yes, they’re probably not the most flattering piece of clothing one can own, but they’re super stylish and as long as you don’t just dress to look thinner (and in my opinion, that’s the only way that we have to erase from our minds because that’s not the number-one purpose of fashion!), you’re gonna love them. :) They’re comfy and so versatile (you all know my → classic black culottes and I’ve already shown you → more statement-like denim culottes before – these ones are → pretty basic and that’s what I like about them!).

For today’s look, I wanted to do something unusual and a bit 70s and modern hippie themed. So when I found the → paisley blouse and the → fuzzy vest (fake fur, as always!), I already had the whole look in my head. Just add a cool pair of → boots because it’s fall (those have an amazing detail, which is the block heel in red tortoise!), a floppy hat and round sunnies. Funny story: the belt I’m wearing is actually the one that comes with the vest, but since I wanted to wear the vest without it, I thought it would look great as a little contrast detail for the jeans. ;)

Aaaah, the 70s – I’ve actually never been a great fan of the typical style of the 70s, but since last summer, I’ve started to like a few pieces that fit perfectly into this decade. It’s fun to style yourself in different ways and give everything a chance instead of always saying “no” when it’s not your usual style. So here I am, wearing → this dress from the current Anna Scholz for sheego collection, the second piece of my editorial “trilogy”, and it’s the dress that was most difficult for me to style – just because I’m not used to the cutouts, the paisley print and that whole 70s flair. But (and that’s a huge one): I really love it! I kind of feel like a modern hippie diva and adding my own accessories to the dress was lots of fun. :)

You all know me, I’m always up for a chic look, so after → last time, when I showed you how casual I can be, here’s an elegant version with another lovely dress that’s just perfect for summer. I had to take it one size up for a nicer fit, so I’m wearing a EU46, which I made a bit more formfitted with a small belt that works perfectly with my platform heels. ;) I actually wanted to wear a cognac-colored hat, but unfortunately I don’t own one, so I had to go for black, but I think it’s actually a nice contrast, especially because it’s a straw hat, which makes it not too heavy as the only black piece in this look.

ENGetting my hands on this jumpsuit wasn’t very easy – it seems like everybody wanted it when it came out, so it was always sold out when I went online for shopping (my size is only available online!). It took some time, but now it’s here and I’ve got a first outfit with it for you. :)

This is one of the comfiest jumpsuits ever – its light fabric and the loose cut make it a pure pleasure to wear; plus, the colors and the print are just beautiful. For my first outfit, I went for a casual hippie look – of course with platforms and a huge hat. :)
Also, this is one of my first looks with the gray hair – unfortunately, after my first hair wash, the gray color washed out a little and with every time a little bit more, so I quickly went blonde (and after another visit to my hairdresser, I’m finally platinum blonde now – just as he wanted to see me from the beginning ;)). I’m actually a little sad about it, but blonde is great too and I really enjoy my light hair color. It’s something different and from time to time, a change is the best thing you can do, right? ;)

ENMy obsession with head wraps continues and this time I tried another wrap technique with a huge bow in the front. Plus, we’re back with another jumpsuit. It’s actually my favorite and I’ve already styled it in so many ways but never like this – the turban adds an exotic touch to the comfy outfit (skip the heels for a shopping trip or a day at the beach!) and there’s yet another special piece: the bag. And yes, it’s really made of pull tabs, colored and hand-sewn in Brazil. I bought it in 2012 when I last visited my family there and spent an afternoon at the Feira Hippie in Ipanema – a great little marketplace for anything handmade, from clothing to interior decoration. If you’re ever there, you should have a look!
