Let me just say: styling a long white trench coat was kind of a big challenge for me. Since I’m pretty short, it was really important how I’d combine it so it wouldn’t look like I’m wearing a huge bathing robe and I wouldn’t feel like a doctor (who’s ready to take a shower). ;)

I went for a classic black-and-white combo, with that little twist. I’m actually not talking about the (fake fur) hat (that looks like I’m wearing a wig, right?) – but about the dress and the boots: both have the same python pattern and while the dress is made of scuba material and matte, the patent leather boots are shiny. I think it’s quite interesting to mix it like that and create a sleek and minimalistic look that’s still very impressive (yeah, talking about the hat now). ;)

The trench has a great fit. I’m always a UK size 16 at → Scarlett & Jo and anything I put on fits perfectly – I’m not lying, at the shooting last weekend, I wore about 9 different pieces and they were all on point. So once you know your S&J size, you can definitely stick to it, whatever you want to buy. ;)

Here we are, back again with a boyish look. After my androgynous cape style, here’s another mixed style – but this time I’m making a long dress look more masculine with a tie and a small hat. It’s something very different, even more different than my look with the cape, since a tie is something I really haven’t worn before.

I know, it’s probably kind of weird to see me like this – even for me it’s very strange, but I kind of liked “switching” (well, not really, because of the dress) roles for a day. ;) Nevertheless, I’m pretty sure that you won’t see me dressed like this again anytime soon – I’ll always prefer extremely feminine and diva-like looks. ;)

Anyways, I love the combination of black and gray – I find it even more interesting than the classic black and white (but it’s still my favorite). I wanted to make this dress a bit more form-fitting with a belt, and that’s where it all started. Adding the vintage hat (it’s from my father’s grandfather), the tie, the bag and the shoes, it’s a very minimalistic style, but there’s just this special something about it. I also went for a more feminine and smokey make-up in order to make everything look more feminine again. The interesting part about it is that I used some gold for it, even though the rest of the outfit only includes silver hardwear.

And we’re back with another gorgeous skirt! This is a very special piece from a lovely person named Karissa which took a loooong time to finally reach me – but that’s okay, good things always take a little longer (and it was an exception because the actual fabric – turquoise and pink – got lost on its way to Karissa and I had to choose another one), right? You can find her clothes on → etsy.
I guess I have to stop talking about my passionate love for African prints, I don’t want to bore you, so all I want to say is that this skirt is won-der-ful! Karissa was so kind to make it as a custom order for me, since she actually makes a dress out of that fabric but I wanted a skirt. :) It fits like a glove and is perfectly finished.

Of course, such an amazing skirt needs a great frame, that’s why I chose some basics in off-white and black, plus some very special killer ankle boots from Casadei, which are thrifted (but were almost unworn) and were on sale – one of my → lucky shoe sale finds. ;) These boots are incredibly comfy, even though they’re extremely high (but that’s a great bonus for dwarfy me), and don’t they just look amazeballs?

I’m a huge “American Horror Story” fan – currently watching season 5 (“Hotel” – and Lady Gaga really deserved that Golden Globe for her role as “The Countess”!) and I love it! My favorite season is “Freak Show” and I’m probably the biggest fan of Jessica Lange as Elsa Mars. These days I was actually pretty sad about the death of David Bowie because I fell in love with → Jessica’s performance of “Heroes” – and the song itself –  on the show.
But for this outfit, I chose season 3, “Coven”, the one about the witches, all dressed up in black for important occasions and looking pretty rad. I kind of mixed the style of the series with that of another one called “Scream Queens”, which, to be honest, I’ve not watched yet but seen a few pictures and kind of liked the styling (that’s where the fuzzy jacket of my look came from). :)

So that’s how my “AHS: Coven meets Scream Queens” look was born. I’m wearing a basic flared dress paired with my Chewbacca (let’s bring in a little Star Wars too!) jacket and overknee boots. For that special touch (you already know I like to make all-black looks more special with an extra something), I finally wore a head wrap again (it’s a huge vintage silk scarf from my mother), my red Gucci bag (with a shortened strap) and added shiny silver details – the belt and my favorite sunnies.
Yes, that’s a very extravagant outfit – and that’s why I love it even more. :) Some time ago I read this quote on Insta: “Dress like you’re already famous!” – my motto for 2016 and the future. :) There’s no reason to hesitate about dressing up whenever I feel like it, and it just reinforces my words from 2015 even more: wear whatever you want, whenever you want!
