I’m a #ruebabe now – a few weeks ago I received a package from the US with some gorgeous → Rue 107 clothes inside, including this incredible “Serengeti” dress. It’s been a little challenge to shoot summery clothes in fall, but I didn’t want to miss showing you how great this dress is. There are two more Rue 107 outfits in the making and coming, and there’s also a bikini left, but I don’t really know how to shoot and post it at the moment. No summer at all = no time for bikinis. And the weather has been very disgusting this weekend and won’t change for the whole week, so I guess I’ve got to feed you more fall-like outfits. :) But I really tried to integrate my summery stuff into our German fall and I hope that it inspires you to not pack all your dresses and skirts away yet – cause there’s always a way to wear them even when it’s cold! Okay, honestly, it was still pretty warm when we shot today’s pictures, so there’s nothing looking like fall, but the next ones, I promise! ;)

A few days ago, the Victoria’s Secret Show 2015 was filmed in New York and will air on December 8. There was a lot of trouble going on and I felt the need to post a picture on → Instagram, which is supposed to send you a special message. Somehow, I guess that’s not enough, more like a drop in the ocean (and I got to read a few very sad comments from people who either didn’t get the message or just were rude, mindless idiots), but as we should never stop talking about size diversity and body positivity and especially do something against body shaming, I take these pictures from my latest shooting with → Mici (who has this great project → Charosé with her friend → Summer, two great bloggers, by the way!) and want to spread the words I have to say and hopefully change a few minds.

Here’s what I wrote under → my picture on Instagram:

“With all that #victoriassecretshow trouble going on, it’s time to remind yourselves that these models’ bodies aren’t the only body type that’s good – every body can be beautiful, sexy, admirable and something to look up to. You’re not worth less only because you don’t look like all those “Angels” on stage. You’re not less sexy because you have a big belly or thick thighs, you’re not disgusting because you don’t have a six pack or no thigh gap. Please always remember: you’re not supposed to look like an underwear model, they shouldn’t be your number one goal and you’re allowed to be yourself, fully dressed, in underwear or naked. You’re good the way you are. Oh and because I like to promote size diversity and not body shaming: the models look great, that’s not the point! It’s about loving yourself and accepting not only your body but also other people’s bodies.”

Well, this could probably have been a great look for Halloween – just add a saucy lace mask and you’re good to go! But since Halloween is already over, this is my interpretation of a sensual “Femme Fatale” look. This dress emphasizes a woman’s curves perfectly and has a cut-out just on the right spot. I really love the fabric, it’s a bit heavier and therefore falls very nicely. It’s my favorite dress of the collection, perfect for a very classic look that you can wear in a formal or sexy way – it’s up to you! ;)

For my version, I went for almost nothing around, just a pair of classic high heels and only a few jewelry pieces like my black and silver “Mise en Dior” earrings and my everyday companion, the “Clic Clac” bracelet from Hermès in greige and white with silver hardwear. And to pick up the lipstick: my beloved “Arty Ring” from YSL in dark silver with a purple stone.
All in all, this is a very dark look, considering that I chose a very dark lipstick (it’s not black, it’s an extremely dark purple!). I could have chosen a red one but I wanted to do something different. ;)

You can’t imagine how excited I was when I saw this dress on Instagram – I was so happy to finally find a dress that looked like the (reverse) design of my Dolce & Gabbana sunglasses’ box, which I totally love. When I bought the sunnies, the beautiful box made me so happy that it got a special place at home where I can always see it (by the way: I’m really talking about a box, not only this sunglasses case I’m using as a clutch in these pictures – but it has the same design). What I wanted to do ever since was wear a dress with the same print, together with these amazing sunnies. But only D&G had a collection with this print and we all know that there’s no chance for me to ever fit into one of their dresses, unless they do a plus-size line. ;)

Anyways: there was this afternoon when I was browsing through my Insta feed and spotted this Lindy Bop dress. I went to their online shop and ordered within a few seconds, not even thinking twice. And here we are: isn’t it perfect? I’m SO in love with it!

I wanted to create a very lady-like look with this dress, kind of 50s chic. I guess this blazer was the perfect choice because looking at the photos I feel a little “royal”, haha! ;) Of course, for fall season, I had to choose a hat that matches the whole look. And the nude sandals are my favorite souvenir from Brazil, they’re so perfect and go with almost everything, just like this outfit. I hope you like it as much as I do! :)
