Here’s the last piece of my little Marina Rinaldi x Stella Jean series on the blog – I promised you a color bomb and there it is! :) This dress is my absolute favorite of the whole collection, it’s just so perfect and beautiful and such a great piece for summer! I love that Frida Kahlo vibe it has and even though it is super colorful, it’s so much fun to over-colorize with accessories, for example with statement sunnies. First, I thought they could be too much, but then I was like “why not?” and actually love the combo (which was much needed because the sun was super bright on that day!). Instead of wearing the obvious red lipstick which I already wore to the Stella Jean FW event in February, I went for pink and also added my pink Dior earrings for that extra dab of color. ;)

Here’s my second look from the Marina Rinaldi x Stella Jean collection. I promised you an outfit that’s a bit more simple before I show you the last one, which is very (very!!!) colorful. :) The skirt’s print is definitely one of my favorites of the collection and it is also available as a coat. It was hard to choose because you know how much I love coats, but I went for the skirt and decided to show a bold look which I think works for many occasions, even though red is a very bright color. ;)

Little P.S.: excuse my annoyed face in some of the pictures. It was horribly windy that day but I was ready for the shoot and wanted to finish it. The wind tried really hard to stop me by ruining my hair, the amazing cut of the skirt (and how it falls) and my mood, but I didn’t want to let it win… Well, I persisted but it was absolutely impossible to make a video. Sorry ’bout that!

One day after my birthday, I spoiled myself with a gift from myself to myself in Milan – this amazing jumpsuit! I had already fallen in love with the Stella Jean collection for Marina Rinaldi last year at the presentation. The collection may be a little over the top, especially when you combine the clothes for an all-over Stella Jean look, which is kind of a bit too much, but there are a few single pieces that are simply amazing and I’m glad to be able to present more than one to you. I bought this jumpsuit because I couldn’t resist (the heart wants what the heart wants – and birthdays are a good reason to spend a little more money on a single piece than usual, haha!) but luckily also received two other gorgeous pieces from the collection (choosing was SO hard!) which I’ll be showing you soon – so stay tuned for some more colorful and graphically super interesting stuff!

Did you know that these prints are inspired by Stella Jean’s Haitian heritage? Since I’m already an African wax print lover (not the same, though, I know), you can imagine how much I love this one! And the bold colors are simply amazing! Can’t wait to show you the other two pieces I chose – one of them is a little more simple and the other one is extremely colorful! Totally me! ♥

I welcome spring with a bright red dress – even though the weather outside isn’t that lovely while it was super warm and nice in February when we shot these pictures (actually planned for Valentine’s Day, but due to being at home with my family, I just had no time to post it), today’s a good day to show you this gorgeous dress. :)

It’s currently almost sold out where I originally bought it because it was already on sale in February, but it keeps coming back in a few sizes. Don’t worry, though, this dress is still available in lots of different colors and styles, look:

Good to know
: when I ordered → this Chi Chi dress, I felt like the sizing was not correctly explained at navabi because a UK size 18 is not a EU size 44 but a size 46 – that’s why it was way too big for me (I had ordered a size 46 and ended up with a 48 because of Chi Chi’s weird sizing). Please have that in mind when ordering at navabi. Otherwise, my tip is to stick to the original sizing and always choose your actual UK size (mine is 16, which is a German 44). Plus: I had the feeling that the regular Chi Chi dresses tend to fit small to size while the Chi Chi Curve dresses are actually a bit larger, even though when wearing this red dress (and I chose a UK size 18, means a EU size 46!), I felt like it was way too tight around my bust and the arm holes were too small. That’s why the dress is now a skirt, thanks to my mom. ;) I guess my tips won’t help that much because you’ll definitely have to try the dresses on in order to find your right size. But it may help a little with choosing before ordering. ;)
