Here we are, back again with a boyish look. After my androgynous cape style, here’s another mixed style – but this time I’m making a long dress look more masculine with a tie and a small hat. It’s something very different, even more different than my look with the cape, since a tie is something I really haven’t worn before.

I know, it’s probably kind of weird to see me like this – even for me it’s very strange, but I kind of liked “switching” (well, not really, because of the dress) roles for a day. ;) Nevertheless, I’m pretty sure that you won’t see me dressed like this again anytime soon – I’ll always prefer extremely feminine and diva-like looks. ;)

Anyways, I love the combination of black and gray – I find it even more interesting than the classic black and white (but it’s still my favorite). I wanted to make this dress a bit more form-fitting with a belt, and that’s where it all started. Adding the vintage hat (it’s from my father’s grandfather), the tie, the bag and the shoes, it’s a very minimalistic style, but there’s just this special something about it. I also went for a more feminine and smokey make-up in order to make everything look more feminine again. The interesting part about it is that I used some gold for it, even though the rest of the outfit only includes silver hardwear.

The → #BeachBodyNotSorry campaign by swimsuitsforall is probably the best thing of the whole year. Denise Bidot is one of my favorite plus models, she’s just gorgeous! Not only is she beautiful but also a mother, so her body has already gone through a wonderful story of love. So there are a few “love marks” (yes, I want to call them that!) on her tummy. She also has cellulite like probably everybody on this planet (yes, even boys and men can have it!). swimsuitsforall did this “Beach Body. Not Sorry.” campaign with her and used absolutely no Photoshop. And OMG – she’s looking sooo hot! I don’t even look at any “imperfections” (why would we call them that?), all I see is one of the world’s most beautiful women, wearing sexy swim wear (I love Adam Saaks’ work, his customized shredded bodies are absolutely on point – I wish I had one too!) and looking like a goddess in bikinis and swim suits.

So: I might not be a model like her, but here’s my #BeachBodyNotSorry style – the first of three we’ve shot (so far) at a few beaches in and around Hamburg. I’m proud to say that I’m okay with me and my body and that I don’t need Photoshop or any other program to change my body in these pictures (well, I don’t even own PS, so there’s not even a chance to see my try it!).
When it’s hot outside, just like these days, all I want to do is get almost naked, jump into the cold water and have fun like everybody else. I don’t want to spend my time thinking about stupid people around me feeling disgusted by the sight of my thick thighs, my huge butt and anything else that’s bigger than usual. That’s me. I’m not a picture in a magazine. I’m a human being. And in order not to melt away, I enjoy my time at the beach like anybody else – without judging others and especially not myself.

ENThat’s one of my casual looks – I don’t show them very often on the blog, as they’re just not that interesting, but from time to time I like to share them with you. :)
What you can see today is one of my typical shopping outfits. Warm and cozy, with flat and comfy shoes – and, of course, my glasses. ;)

ENLast week was Fashion Week in Berlin – I did not visit the tent but the Plus Size fair and had the chance (even though there was too little time for me because I had some very bad migraine – so stay tuned for next season in summer) to get some impressions, I spent a great evening with Zizzi (and there’s coming up some wonderful stuff, including a brand new “Black Label” range), fell in love with many gorgeous coats (especially two capes, one from persona by Marina Rinaldi and one from SEELER) and had a good time with wonderful ladies. :)

Of course I came up with a little more special outfit for this day and even though I wanted to wear color (Plus Size events always mean so much black), I ended up with one of my typical “all black” looks, but with some little details: pattern mix with python and houndstooth, a little rougher boots in combination with a dress (and that’s an absolute rarity when it comes to my outfits!) and, of course, the stockings, at which you have to look twice to see what’s written on them (a little bit naughty!). ;)
