One day after my birthday, I spoiled myself with a gift from myself to myself in Milan – this amazing jumpsuit! I had already fallen in love with the Stella Jean collection for Marina Rinaldi last year at the presentation. The collection may be a little over the top, especially when you combine the clothes for an all-over Stella Jean look, which is kind of a bit too much, but there are a few single pieces that are simply amazing and I’m glad to be able to present more than one to you. I bought this jumpsuit because I couldn’t resist (the heart wants what the heart wants – and birthdays are a good reason to spend a little more money on a single piece than usual, haha!) but luckily also received two other gorgeous pieces from the collection (choosing was SO hard!) which I’ll be showing you soon – so stay tuned for some more colorful and graphically super interesting stuff!

Did you know that these prints are inspired by Stella Jean’s Haitian heritage? Since I’m already an African wax print lover (not the same, though, I know), you can imagine how much I love this one! And the bold colors are simply amazing! Can’t wait to show you the other two pieces I chose – one of them is a little more simple and the other one is extremely colorful! Totally me! ♥

I welcome spring with a bright red dress – even though the weather outside isn’t that lovely while it was super warm and nice in February when we shot these pictures (actually planned for Valentine’s Day, but due to being at home with my family, I just had no time to post it), today’s a good day to show you this gorgeous dress. :)

It’s currently almost sold out where I originally bought it because it was already on sale in February, but it keeps coming back in a few sizes. Don’t worry, though, this dress is still available in lots of different colors and styles, look:

Good to know
: when I ordered → this Chi Chi dress, I felt like the sizing was not correctly explained at navabi because a UK size 18 is not a EU size 44 but a size 46 – that’s why it was way too big for me (I had ordered a size 46 and ended up with a 48 because of Chi Chi’s weird sizing). Please have that in mind when ordering at navabi. Otherwise, my tip is to stick to the original sizing and always choose your actual UK size (mine is 16, which is a German 44). Plus: I had the feeling that the regular Chi Chi dresses tend to fit small to size while the Chi Chi Curve dresses are actually a bit larger, even though when wearing this red dress (and I chose a UK size 18, means a EU size 46!), I felt like it was way too tight around my bust and the arm holes were too small. That’s why the dress is now a skirt, thanks to my mom. ;) I guess my tips won’t help that much because you’ll definitely have to try the dresses on in order to find your right size. But it may help a little with choosing before ordering. ;)

Mango blouse, ASOS skirt,
ASOS Curve skirt, Lost Ink pumps

Well, maybe this is a business look inspiration – maybe not, but it’s definitely something I’d like to wear in an office. Not in mine, though, because at home in front of my computer, I mostly wear my pajamas, haha! ;) That’s why I don’t post so many business looks… ;)

The whole outfit was actually planned in a completely different way – I was supposed to try on the blouse with some short dungarees and my leather jacket. But since the dungarees were sold out, I had another idea up my sleeve – pencil skirt and short blazer! And again – my glasses, because I figured you like them and I want to keep showing them from time to time. A perfect look for all business ladies. ;)

I must say that I’m so happy with each single piece of this look. The blazer was such a lucky buy (it originally costs around €1000 and I got it for €250!) and looks amazing with any more elegant outfit. The skirt is the only pencil skirt ever to work for me and my figure because it’s tight enough around the knees. And the blouse is great because the cut fits (this is a EU 46 and it’s not too loose around the bust but still goes over my hips without any problems, yay!) and it looks so cool – a great basic to own! And yes, the glasses – did I ever tell you their story? I saw a woman on the train wearing them and was completely enchanted until I finally had the guts to ask her where she got them (just a few minutes before she left), and she was so kind as to let me write down the model number. I then found the glasses in Brazil but they were completely overpriced. In the end, I got them online at some no-name glasses store (lucky me – they were no fake).

Dress: Scarlett & Jo
Pumps: Valentino “Rockstud”
Bag: Dior “Lady Dior”
Earrings: Chanel
Alternatives: Scarlett & Jo floral dress,
Scarlett & Jo polka dot dress, Lost Ink pumps,
ASOS pumps

Another super classic black & white look for which I went very matchy-matchy (shoooooeeees!). ;)

I need to be honest with you and tell you that unfortunately, there’s no way to get this dress at the moment. It’s from Scarlett & Jo and was only available at SimplyBe UK (so not even shipping to Germany) and is currently sold out, but I really hope that S&J will be restocking and sell it in their own shop so you can all get this amazing dress! Until then, there are two dresses of the same cut & style but with different prints: find → option n° 1 here and → option n° 2 here.
At first, I thought that the belt (it’s part of the dress but detachable) would be a bit too much, but when you’re all ready with hair and make-up done, wearing nice shoes and accessories, the belt is definitely a great addition, it brings in a bit more contrast – and that’s good. ;)

I love these very classic dresses which you can definitely style in a modern way but which also work if you stay true to their style. For this look I decided to go on with the ladylike look, so I picked my black and white “Rockstuds”, my “Lady Dior” and classic Chanel earrings, very luxurious accessories for a very sophisticated look.

At the moment, you’d definitely need to wear a warm coat, at least when you go outside. ;) I’d recommend a classic black one, I’d take → this one, it’s my favorite of all times. ;)

EDIT: The dress is now available (currently pre-order)! You can find it → here!
