Just like I explained in my last outfit post, fashion allows us to be who we want, and we can make a new decision every time we’re in front of our closet. ;) So last time, I wanted to wear a very tight and colorful dress – this time, I went for a very classic and sophisticated look, including a new piece in my jewelry collection: my first Chanel brooch! :) I actually wanted to shoot this outfit earlier, but when I finally had some luck at the store (every time I went there, they didn’t have any at all, but last time there were about 12 different brooches!), I instantly knew that this was exactly that last detail to complete this look. :)

People always say that fat girls can’t wear (horizontal) stripes – why’s that? I love stripes and I don’t care if they make me look fatter than I already am. That’s another thing about fashion that people need to start to understand: fashion is not about making you look thinner. Fashion is about the freedom I mentioned in my last post, the freedom to wear whatever I like, whatever pleases my own taste. And if someone else doesn’t like it – hell, I don’t give a single f***. And neither should you. ;)

I don’t think that this post needs a lot of explanation – you all know me already, I can’t say no to a classic LBD. Black dresses are the best choice for any occasion and work for every style. Whether you want to look casual or elegant, a little black dress is always right. Yet I still prefer the chic version when I wear them and this one is a pretty classy little number. Isn’t the neckline absolutely amazing? I love the detail with the black stripe between the sheer dotted net. Only one thing is important: you’ll need a strapless bra underneath. Since I haven’t found one yet (still searching, I think this search will be never-ending, ugh!), I simply went for a funny alternative: I’m wearing a strapless bikini bra underneath (→ this one). I mean, that doesn’t make me the MacGyver of fashion, but it was a good idea because I didn’t want to wear the dress without something underneath and this was the only thing I could come up with. Well – at least you can’t see any straps and that’s what’s important to me. ;)

• Yves Saint Laurent “Mon Paris” (Eau de Parfum) •

I grew up with my mother always wearing “Paris” by Yves Saint Laurent – a true classic and a very feminine (and since I was little when I kept smelling it) and mature fragrance. → “Mon Paris” seemed to be a younger and wilder “version” of it (I don’t really know if it is related to the original “Paris”, so that’s my own thought), the official description sounds euphoric and adventurous, sensual and like a love declaration – and this whole mixture made me very interested. Today, I want to share my review of this amazing perfume with you.

As a short person, I’m happy to announce that there’s a new range at Scarlett & Jo – it’s called → “Curvy Petite” and is specially made for tiny people like me (I’m 1.60 m/5’3”).

One of the new pieces is → this gorgeous red dress and all I can say is that a red dress is always a good choice, especially when it has such lovely details like the neckline and the sheer dotted sleeves. It’s a bit shorter to work with short people’s heights, so it actually fits like it’s supposed to fit and not midi instead of mini. Even though I’ve really become a midi lover, it’s nice to wear a short dress and this one is definitely a stunner. It features S&J’s typical bodycon details – a thick fabric and ruffles in the front, both for a very flattering look that enhances your curves and shows your body in the best possible way.
Last time I wore a red dress from Scarlett & Jo, → I went for beige heels (which I still think were a great choice, even though they’re not the obvious one and I heard some people say that they looks awkward), this time I went for classic black and I think that both is good. :) I’m still looking for my perfect pair of red heels, though – not easy to find some that I really like!
