My dear readers! It’s finally that time of year again – Christmas is here! Tonight’s Christmas Eve and I hope that all of you are with their loved ones, their families and friends and that you’ll celebrate with loads of love and food. Cause that’s what matters most, right? It’s not about the presents – and yet, I’ve got something for you that will hopefully make at least two people happy, yay!

I want to wish you all a very merry Christmas and tell you that you deserve all the best in the world. I know that many of you aren’t happy when they drive home for Christmas to their families and get fatshamed or have to listen to a list of other things that are wrong with you and it breaks my heart to know that such a wonderful time of the year keeps being misused for something that sad – even though most of the people doing this don’t even understand how much they’re breaking you. So please, don’t listen to what they say about your body or you in general, your life choices, your partner or the one you don’t have, or anything else that’s actually your own business.

I want you to know that you don’t need to believe all this as long as you’re happy with who you are and what you’re doing. And even if you’re not, there’s no use in trying to please them by belittling yourself through their words. All that matters is you and your feelings. Don’t let them be hurt! I would like to say to you that you should step up for yourself, tell them that this is not okay and that you don’t deserve to listen to all that crap and if they don’t understand, you should think about next Christmas with people who don’t take family reunions as an excuse to tell you you’re not good the way you are. Because you are! ♥

I’ve known the girls and boys from → Wundercurves for quite some time now, but we only managed to do a collab now. The wait was worth it, cause I got to choose this amazing outfit and show you a special look for winter! :)

They asked me to do a winter outfit and I decided to search for something that’s cozy but also has that special twist (you know me, I can’t do anything without adding something a little different!). Of course, it had to be a coat and since “teddy coats” are pretty trending right now, I went for this tri-colored version which is perfectly cozy and warm for those cold wintery days. First, I thought about adding a nice sweater plus jeans, but since I’ve been showing you loads of pants in the last months, I chose a comfy knit dress. It’s pretty tight, I know, and I wish I could’ve gone one size up but XXL was the biggest size available and I must say that this is definitely not a 2X, it’s very much smaller.

For my special twist, I added the red overknee boots I’ve already told you about. Of course, the actual look I had in mind with them, is still coming, don’t worry, but don’t they look amazing in this combo, too? I think they’re just that special extra the look needed to become one of those typical Lu styles. ;)

No outfit post today but another wonderful illustration by my dear Katarina Kühl (the first one is → in this post). The original picture also features Hayley Hasselhoff (you can see it → here), but since today is my birthday and I want to do a special post, I thought it’d be nice to use this version, which she sent me so I can frame it for our apartment. :)

So, today I’m turning 27 and even though there won’t be a party today, I’ll celebrate with my family and on Saturday with my friends – of course with our annual Laser Tag battle and some delicious food afterwards. :) “Same procedure as every year, James…” – but I really love traditions and having fun with my friends is such a great one! Tomorrow, I’m flying to Milan for an event with Marina Rinaldi, so even a short trip is part of my birthday fun! :)

And because I like sharing, I’ve teamed up with the S&J family for another very special giveaway (don’t forget the denim package from Monday!). I had already promised you a giveaway on the occasion of my blogiversary, so today I’m combining both and here we go – this is what you can win:

Etwas, das man sich eindeutig zu selten gönnt, aber doch so wunderbar ist, ist wohl definitiv eine Massage. Es ist jetzt schon ein Weilchen her, dass ich “meine” Frau dafür gefunden habe – die liebe Diana, über die ich bereits → hier geschrieben hatte. Seitdem versuche ich, so oft es geht, bei ihr vorbeizuschauen, denn gerade als ein klassischer Bucklig-vorm-PC-Hocker ist mein Rücken (und vor allem mein Schulterbereich) ganz dankbar drum, wenn er nicht einfach nur ein paar gelegentliche Streicheleinheiten vom Mann bekommt, sondern auch mal fachmännisch entknotet wird. ;) Aber an der Stelle soll unbedingt noch erwähnt werden, wie grandios auch die Fußmassage ist! ;)

Und weil ich so zufrieden und glücklich mit Diana bin, haben wir uns gemeinsam überlegt, zum neuen Jahr auch jemanden von euch zu entspannen. Dafür gibt es eine 60-minütige Ganzkörpermassage in Dianas Zauberhänden von uns geschenkt. Außerdem habe ich mir von meiner Seite aus überlegt, daraus einen kleinen Verwöhnnachmittag zu machen und selbst vorbeizuschauen, damit wir vorher noch gemeinsam einen selbstgebackenen Kuchen essen und Tee trinken können, bevor es für den Gewinner ins muckelige Wellnessstübchen geht (ja, ich bin jetzt schon neidisch, hihi!). :) Vielleicht habt ihr darauf ja Lust?
