• How I shop •

I’m a huge lover of online shopping (even though I’m not a shopping lover!). You can find so many amazing clothes online (more than offline, that’s obvious) and you’ll find inspiration everywhere! No need to limit your choices to “a maximum of three pieces”, no need to get stuck in that small fitting room, no need to hurry because there are loads of people waiting to try their stuff on, no need to see yourself in bad lighting and a magically distorting mirror.
Today, I want to share with you the three steps of how I shop because I feel that many of you don’t really feel comfortable shopping, especially when it’s plus size.

I’m super thankful that I not only get to know new plus-size and all-size (!) brands but also get the opportunity to receive clothes for outfit shoots – sometimes I can keep them, other times I send them back after taking pictures with them, just as magazines do. So please, when you look at my blog and think that I a) must be a shopping addict (no, defo not!) or b) am super rich because I have so many clothes (and again: nope!), don’t forget that this blog is my job and since the main topic here is my outfits (and inspiring you!), new stuff is very important for me, even though I keep trying to show you many different options (always keep your eyes open at the end of every outfit post for “style it differently” ideas!) – I receive clothes to style them my way, to promote brands that I like (I’d never show something that doesn’t please me and/or has no value for you guys!) and to keep everything up to date.

Feel Glamorous.

Feel Glamorous.

ENI’m very happy to announce that I’m Palmolive’s blogger testimonial for their new → “Feel Glamorous” shower gel – that’s why today I want to share some of my little secrets for a glamorous feeling and introduce you to the new shower gel.

Maybe, some might think that it doesn’t really belong here, especially because I usually write about luxury cosmetics. For me, shower gel is something like make-up remover: you need it on a daily basis and in the end it’s a consumer and disposable product. Still, it has to be of good quality, be nice to your skin and make you feel good – but it’s definitely a product that doesn’t have to be extremely expensive. My favorite shower gel was discontinued about two years ago and since then I’ve been switching shower gels every time a new bottle was empty. I kind of feel like I could stick to this one, as it’s not only a shower gel but also contains very fine peeling grains, which brings a nice feeling and at the same time glamour to your daily shower time. :)
