• Recipe – Tomatoes & Thyme •

By Posted on 2 961 views

It’s time for a new recipe on the blog – today, I’ve got something very easy and delicious for you. A perfect match for any fresh bread or a BBQ. Easily done in a few quick steps!

You’ll need:

• medium-sized tomatoes
• fresh garlic
• fresh thyme
• freshly ground sea salt and pepper
• high-quality olive oil

Just use as much as you’d like to have (depending on whether the tomatoes will be a side dish or part of your main course).
Cut the tomatoes in halves and remove the pips. Put them in a heat-resistant bowl that can be put into your oven. Pre-heat the oven to about 200 °C/392 °F.

Then slice the garlic as thin as possible and use about two slices for every tomato half. Wash the thyme and scatter the tiny leaves on the tomatoes. Pour a small amount of olive oil into the tomato halves and season with freshly ground sea salt and pepper. You could also add some chili if you like it a little more spicy. ;)

Put it all into the oven for about 30 minutes – the tomatoes should be a little squishy now.
We had them the other day with some chicken fillets, which is also a great combination and absolutely delicious. :)

Parece tão apetitoso e fácil de fazer. Com umas fatias de pão italiano deve ser ótimo.
    Obrigada pela dica.
