Green is definitely my favorite color, especially shades like khaki and olive – perfect colors for fall and also a perfect match for my eye color (green-brown).
This blouse was my first favorite of the new collection and I knew I had to shoot it. While sheego went for a combination with leather pants, I decided to work it with a fake leather midi skirt. Either way, this is a blouse that’s very feminine and gives a special touch to any style, whether you’re wearing pants or a skirt (or culottes, how about giving them a try for this look?).
The oversized houndstooth print also has a detail that I only saw when I looked at the pictures – it’s kind of a goodie for smaller breasts, as the black parts are placed above the bust like a triangle. And we all know: lighter parts stand out while dark spots recede into the background. So if you want to accentuate your bust, this is a blouse to go for. ;) Also, I like the details: the ruffles in the front, the bronze button and the beautiful slightly flared sleeves. And I’m back in the hat game – prepare yourselves for fall and many hat looks (gotta buy a new one, or maybe two – I definitely need a grey hat!).

More about my make-up on → sheego’s blog “feel happy!” – make sure to have a look! ;)

From all those beach wear pieces I’ve shown you in the last weeks, this swimsuit is my absolute favorite. I’ve never seen such a gorgeous piece and even though I’ve warred with myself for some time (especially because of the price), I had no chance and had to order it. “Just to prove that it won’t fit! As every designer piece! I’ll definitely send it back!”, were my words. Until it arrived. And fitted perfectly. And that’s when our fate and love was sealed. I kept it, obviously.

So in order to make this dreamy swimsuit all justice, I went for the most perfect beach look I could create (well, in my opinion). I bought some transparent beach pants for my vacation and the walk to the beach (imagine me working the “calçadão” from Ipanema to the song “Girl from Ipanema”, haha!), and of course had to try some looks before flying away. Now, I’m hopefully sitting at the beach while this blog post goes online – maybe also wearing this look, enjoying the Brazilian sun. :)

Meow! I can finally start to show you my Lookbook that I shot for the current Anna Scholz for sheego collection – and I’m more than excited to tell you that, together with the Lookbook, I’m also guest-posting on → sheego’s blog “feel happy!”.  Here, you’ll find the outfits and on their blog, I’ll talk a little bit more about my make-up and share some tips with you. So make sure to head over and have a look – today it’s all about smoky eyes! ;)

Let’s start with an absolutely unusual piece for me: I never thought that I’d love this dress as much as I did after I put it on. Normally, I prefer waisted and flared dresses – this one has no waist but a rather straight cut, but it makes such a beautiful silhouette and fits absolutely perfectly – I had no chance but to fall in love. ;)
Also, leo prints are not very usual for me (let’s say I’m more of the floral or plain-colored type), but this one is great – it’s almost three-dimensional and the colors are so bright and popping, it’s definitely an eyecatcher. Plus, there’s this collar at the top – you won’t need a necklace or any other statement jewelry (that’s why I only chose a tiny pair of earrings). This dress is my personal surprise and maaaaybe I’ll have to get the → black version of it – just as another addition to my LBD obsession. ;)

We’re getting closer to the finish of my → #BeachBodyNotSorry series – I hope you’re not bored or getting annoyed because I still got at least one look left (and another swimsuit is still on its way!). But today it’s all about me playing geisha at the beach. :)

Unfortunately, my swimsuit is not available anymore, but I found a great alternative at ASOS from → Miraclesuit. Also, my “beach towel” is only a piece of fabric that I tied to a little skirt. The umbrella was a gift at an event by Kenzo, Givenchy and Fendi (and great on their rooftop terrace on a sunny afternoon) – since I was already adding kind of a Japanese touch to my swimsuit with my skirt, I just thought, “why not?” and brought the umbrella with me for my little transformation. ;) I tried to be as dignified and delicate as a real geisha (I really admire their beautiful art and dedication to it!) even though it looks a little clumsy, reminding myself that I’m plus-sized, haha! ;)

Anyways, I liked the idea of joining another movement of the curvy community called #dropthetowel (I won’t link the Instagram tag page as some guys didn’t really get the point…), and even though I already mentioned my little thigh problem in my last beach body post, here’s my thighs and butt in full bloom, just for you. No retouching, no removing of any flaws – just me. And you know what? I feel beautiful. Just like a geisha.
