When I was thinking about what I could wear for my friend’s wedding, this was one of my ideas. But I didn’t choose this one because I thought it’s too much. But I hope that there’ll be another occasion, maybe a summer party, where I can wear it because I really love this look and I felt like a summer princess in it (I think you can see my joy and the fun I had wearing it in the video!). :)

In the end, I went for a completely different outfit for the wedding (it was on Saturday!) and I’ll show it to you in one of my next outfit posts. I think that it was a good idea to wear something else than the obvious “black and chic” look because I still have that feeling that you shouldn’t really wear black for a wedding, even though it’s always a great choice. ;) I can’t wait to show you my look and I’m sure you’re going to love it as much as I did and still do. ;)

I love surprise packages – especially when there’s something so beautiful inside! :)

Scarlett & Jo, one of my favorite plus-size brands, finally has its own online shop and I’m proud to present one of their gorgeous dresses today. :)

It’s also one of my Christmas outfit ideas – I guess velvet is one of the most Christmassy fabrics ever and red (in this case, it’s a magenta red which sometimes looks more pink or more purple, depending on the light) is also a great color for that special time of the year. :)

This dress is incredibly perfect – the color, the cut (love the fishtail hem!), the sweetheart neckline, the quality,… everything! It’s very formfitting, so I’d recommend wearing some Spanx underneath for a smooth silhouette, but the small ruffles in front conceal your little Christmas roast belly, so no worries. ;)

For my personal touch, I wore it with an old belt from Zara, matching my headband. I felt like a princess during our shoot and to be honest: it’s just that little bit of sparkling that makes the outfit complete. Even though the dress is already beautiful without any extras. ;)

Peep-Toes: Claudia Bauknecht

Ring: YSL Arty Ring
Alternatives: Zalando Essentials sweater, Topshop skirt, Claudia Bauknecht peep-toes (other color), ASOS pumps, ASOS headband

ENIt’s pretty obvious how much I love Scarlett & Jo, right? I got this skirt as a gift and wanted to style it a little more differently than usual, so: no black shirt but a blue one – but with a little color spot, my yellow high heels. :)

This sweater is vintage and I found it in my grandma’s closet. I fell in love with the collar, so I took it with me to Hamburg – now I’ve got a little bit of my grandmother here with me. :) I love garments which make me remember someone…

Alternatives: ASOS Curve dress, KG by Kurt Geiger pumps, Shourouk headband, Lipsy earrings

I can finally blog again! :) Thanks to a super nice new neighbor who’s “lending” us his internet, this is happening way earlier than expected because we’ll get our own internet in 2-3 weeks…

Fortunately, we shot some outfits for navabi and my latest Style Council article before moving. I styled my favorite summer dresses for the post and this is one of them. You all know that I adore floral prints – click → here if you want to see the other styles. ;)

This enchanting dress by Basler is more than perfect: I love its bright colorful floral print in combination with paisley, color gradient and neon piping! I wore it in a very feminine way with my favorite headband by Zara, matching earrings and (of course!) colored heels. :)
