I had the pleasure to style my very own persona by Marina Rinaldi look and therefore the chance to choose my favorite pieces of the latest collection. Since I really love Marina Rinaldi and the younger line persona by Marina Rinaldi, it was hard to make a choice. In the end I had three favorite outfits and let them choose which outfit they want me to shoot. :) Decisions are not my thing, haha!

They couldn’t have picked a better outfit, because I’m more than happy with these pieces. The pleated skirt is one of the most amazing skirts I’ve ever worn. It’s so wonderfully lightweight and it was so much fun to shoot it in the wind. You can get the skirt → here directly at persona or → here at navabi. I went for a EU size 44 and it fits perfectly, even a little bit loose around my waist.
The blouse is transparent and actually comes with a simple and plain white top that can be worn underneath. I chose a white body (from La Perla) because I liked the look better. I really fell in love with the blouse and its delicate floral lace design, which is very, very beautiful. I also chose size 44 here, even though blouses are always very difficult for me because of my large hips – luckily, I had no problems with the fit, it’s just perfect. You can get it → here.
To complete my look, I chose my black and white “Rockstuds”, which are the best possible match for the whole outfit, a huge hat (which was definitely no fun to shoot because it was so windy and I almost lost it a few times, but it just looks amazing, right?) and some silver details, like the belt and my earrings.

Honestly, I’ve been writing it a lot this year and I somehow think that it’s really a year of favorites, but this is another look to be called “one of my absolute favorites”. ;)

Finally: here’s the first outfit with the dress of my dreams. It was kind of a coincidence that I saw it because I was checking the mytheresa SALE but ended up having a look at the new collection. And there it was: THE dress. Honestly, if I weren’t married already, this would be the dress I’d wear. There’s no need for white on a wedding day when you can wear this. :) I probably wouldn’t even need a groom because I’d marry the dress (haha, just kidding – or not?). :) I’m so in love and extremely happy that I finally got the chance to buy a Dolce & Gabbana dress because I seriously never thought I’d ever fit into anything from the designer duo. I guess this dress is proof that even if you’re plus size, you should always give the pieces you’ve fallen in love with a chance, try them on and see if they fit. Because this is an Italian size 50, which makes it a EU size 46, but it’s actually a 44 and, lucky me, I wear a size 44. So if I hadn’t even given the dress a chance, I wouldn’t be the happiest girl in the world now (even though my bank account cried a lot after my visit to their boutique). This dress is the most precious piece I own and I’ll wear it until it falls apart (please never!). We already shot the second look I had in mind when I saw it and a third one is already planned. So this is part one of my poppies and daisies romance. ♥

I’ve teamed up again with sheego for another series around the latest and current Anna Scholz for sheego collection. You can already find all pieces online and I’ll show you my three favorites of it on a monthly basis.

Today’s favorite (and my number one of them) is the → maxi dress with a blue and white feather print. Luckily, sheego offers petite lengths for tiny Human McNuggets like me, so I chose the slightly shorter version of the dress to wear the actual length.

I’ve created a casual style, wearing suede fringe espadrilles, but of course this dress also looks great with high heels, especially wedges or platform sandals for a kind of hippie style.
I also added a belt in order to accentuate my waist, and chose a few accessories in black and blue to complete the look. Even though I really adore elegant and sophisticated looks, this is probably one of my favorite casual looks ever, and because the pieces I chose for my editorials are only borrowed for the shootings, I will definitely get this one again so I can wear it more often during spring and summer.
By the way: it’s made of soft and elastic jersey and the fabric isn’t too thin, so it falls very prettily, but it’s still light and loose enough to be worn without sweating when it’s warm outside. ;) That’s one of the features I really love about Anna Scholz dresses.

We already had a few warm days here in Hamburg and yet I am here sitting in front of my computer with a cold while writing this post. The cold caught me by surprise on the weekend, I spent most of the time in bed or watching TV on the couch, trying to get healthy by → snacking pomelo and drinking tea, and now I just hope that I’ll be better very soon. We couldn’t shoot this weekend even though there’s lots to do, but I hope that we can do it next weekend and prepare many beautiful outfits for you!

Today’s outfit is about → this 2 in 1 dress from Scarlett & Jo. People always think that it’s a skirt but it’s actually a dress with a wide elastic waist band (which I hid under a belt). It’s very comfy and looks great on everyone (just have a look at the product page!). It’s already my third one, even though I “destroyed” one of them by → making it a skirt (I just didn’t really like the top on me) and wearing it with a S&J shirt (which creates a look like the dresses), and → a fourth one is already on its way and will be up here soon. I also got an actual → skirt of the same style and it’s always a pleasure to wear these pieces. As usual, I’m wearing a UK size 16, and it fits like a glove.

As you can see, I finally got my hands on a pair of Valentino’s “Rockstud” pumps. I got them on SALE with 30% off and I’m pretty sure that it was the best color choice I could make (since there are so many different color options – it’s incredible!). I still have to get used to high heels without platform. I usually buy platforms because they’re just more comfortable. Luckily, the “Rockstuds” aren’t too high (10.5 cm), so they’re easy to walk in and get used to it.
