Sometimes it has to be extra-girly – that’s just what I thought when persona by Marina Rinaldi surprised me with this shirt. I’ve been positing many rather unusual looks the last few weeks (and I love it!) and there’s been a lot of swimwear, so why not try something classy and elegant again? :) My petticoat skirt is one of my favorites in my closet, but unfortunately it never had a great cut because of the non-stretchy fabric at the waist. But somehow I always managed to wear it without any problems (like → here, → here and → here). ;)

So today’s look is a little more sophisticated and somehow ladylike, but still fun and girly thanks to the skirt and playful details like the belt and the pink lipstick. ;)

Wait, is this really Hamburg? No beach abroad? Yup. We’re back at the dunes… I really love this place and the fine sand makes me feel like I’m on vacation somewhere far, far away. :) Today, I don’t want to write too much – just let you enjoy these pictures, which are my favorites since, like… forever. :) I love the whole look and also, this swimsuit is a piece that made me very happy when I bought it. Here’s another proud addition to my → #BeachBodyNotSorry series and hopefully further proof that curves don’t need to be hidden at the beach!

Exploring new little beaches in Hamburg is a lot of fun – especially when you have to climb over a fence (oops!) and down many rocks (wearing flip flops). But sometimes it’s worth it and you’ll find a tiny beach just for you – with nobody disturbing your shooting just before sunset. And only a few minutes before this beach got flooded pretty quickly. You can probably imagine how quickly we climbed back up all the rocks in order to stay dry. ;)

Funny story behind this look: my top is actually a beach towel from when I was little. When we last visited my parents, I had a look at the stuff I had left there and found it – the tie-dye print is way too beautiful (just as the memories!) to leave it unworn and so I came up with the idea to wear it as a crop top, wrapping it around my bust and neck and tadaaa: fits again! ;)
I also wanted to wear a turban again and found another piece I had already forgotten. Isn’t this scarf a perfect match to the top? And to round up that blue look, I put on my blue sunnies and some tiny turquoise earrings. Good to go! Even though I would have worn some sneakers instead of flip flops if I’d known that I’d go climbing. ;) Still there’s nothing better than walking barefoot in the sand and just staying there with your feet in the water, sinking in a little more, wave by wave…

Palm tree print, sheer clothes, favorite bag, new sunnies and (the best thing about this post) sunshine in Hamburg. That’s what I call “the good life”. Sitting on a bridge, watching the sun go down, eating a sandwich, sharing it all with my family (which includes my parents who I called via Skype) and just feeling great. Is there anything better? I don’t think so. ;)

By the way: these pants have become my summer favorite. Fortunately, my mother managed to get another pair for me, so I won’t have to live without them in case I wear them too often and ruin them. ;) My tip for you (once again) if you’re looking for a particular piece at H&M: have a look at their online shop at around 5 am – almost everything is available again and maybe also these pants (if not, there are similar ones → here, also from H&M).

Another favorite: my sunglasses. Definitely not everyone’s cup of tea, but you know me – the fancier the sunnies, the more I love them. These sunglasses were the highlight of Dolce & Gabbana’s “Spain in Sicily” collection and when I visited the store here in Hamburg, they were the first thing I saw. It’s unbelievable how one can walk into the store and not see all those gorgeous bags and shoes (and dresses, but we already talked about this – I’m pretty sure I’ll never own one because of the sizing, but that’s okay as long as I can buy sunglasses like these!), but that’s me – my obsession is all about sunglasses. ;) I’m so in love with this pair that I’m really trying to combine them with everything, even though that’s not that easy – let’s see when I’m going to post the next outfit with them. ;)
