Ich denke, wir können den Winter endlich abhaken und uns dem Frühling widmen. Seit Tagen scheint die Sonne, die Temperaturen sind angenehm (für die Fotos geht’s dann auch wirklich ohne Jäckchen) und die gute Laune erwischt jeden Winter-mir-ist-kalt-Miesmuffel.
In London habe ich, so richtig “last minute”, dieses Outfit zusammengestellt. Im Flughafen Heathrow gibt es nämlich zwei richtig tolle Geschäfte: Ted Baker und French Connection. Ted Baker schreit sowieso ganz laut meinen Namen (Kleider, Kleider, Kleider und Blumenprints!) und French Connection hat so viele schöne Teile, die sich durchgehend gut in meinem Kleiderschrank machen würden… Als ich also noch ein bisschen Zeit hatte, bevor mein Flug nach Hause ging, habe ich ein bisschen gestöbert und – nachdem ich bei Ted Baker bereits ein Kleid gekauft hatte (allerdings in der Stadt) – dieses T-Shirt gefunden. Auch der Rock stach mir sofort in die Augen und als ich beides eingetütet in der Hand hatte, kam mir sofort die Idee, meine neuen Errungenschaften miteinander zu kombinieren. :) Ich liebe den Blumenprint auf dem Shirt und auch der Rock mit dem krisseligen “Salt and Pepper”-Stoff ist gleich ein Lieblingsstück geworden. Ausgestellt? Meins! Zugegeben, er dürfte noch ein kleines Bisschen länger sein, aber er bedeckt alles und somit geht das für mich klar. ;)
I think that we can finally check off winter and focus on spring. The sun has been shining for days now, the temperatures are lovely (good for pictures without a cardi) and the good mood gets every winter-it’s-so-cold-grump.
In London, I put this outfit together – totally “last minute”. There’s a Ted Baker and French Connection shop at Heathrow Airport, and while Ted Baker screams my name very loud (dresses, dresses, dresses and floral prints!), French Connection has a lot of beautiful pieces that would be doing very well in my closet… So when I had some time before my flight home, I browsed through both stores and found this shirt at Ted Baker (after already buying a dress in the city) and the skirt at French Connection. When I had both shopping bags, I immediately had the idea of combining both pieces. :) I love the floral print shirt and the skirt with its gritty “salt and pepper” fabric instantly became a favorite. It’s flared? I’ll take it. Admittedly, it could be a little longer, but as it covers everything, that’s okay for me. ;)

Ziemlich dunkel war es noch, als wir die Fotos geschossen haben – und die Zeit war knapp, also sind die Bilder nicht ganz so wie ich es mir vorgestellt habe (und ich hab’ schon einiges daran helligkeits- und sättigungstechnisch bearbeitet). :) Trotzdem wollte ich euch den Look nicht vorenthalten.
Am Freitag war ich so in Stuttgart bei ghd, wo uns die limitierte “Pastel Collection” vorgestellt wurde – natürlich mit anschließendem Ausprobieren. Und während ich irgendwie wirklich unfähig bin, mir schöne Locken damit zu machen, so hat mein Stylist vor Ort es geschafft, mir Locken zu zaubern, die ganze 3 Tage problemlos gehalten haben und wunderschön aussahen. Wenn ich jetzt also übe, übe, übe, bekomme ich es hoffentlich auch bald so hin. Ich werde es auf jeden Fall versuchen!
Übrigens: meine Haare sind noch ein Stückchen heller – leider sieht man das auf den Fotos wegen der Dunkelheit gar nicht so richtig (wenn man es weiß, merkt man es aber, oder?), aber beim nächsten Outfitpost bestimmt! :)
Zu diesem Anlass habe ich ein neues Jäckchen von H&M Trend getragen, das mir sofort aufgefallen war und das mich irgendwie an Isabel Marant erinnert hat. Eine schöne, schwere graue Jacke mit einem wunderschönen Strickmuster! Ich werde sicher lang etwas von ihr haben, das Teil ist wirklich cool! Dazu ein lockeres Kleid, meine bequemen “Alma”-Booties und mein rotes Täschchen für mehr Farbe (und es passt tatsächlich alles rein, was ich so für einen Tag brauche!). :)
It was pretty dark when we shot these pictures – and we were short of time, so these photos didn’t come out as expected. :) Nevertheless, I wanted to show you this look.
On Friday I was in Stuttgart at ghd, where we got to know the limited “Pastel Collection” – and of course had the chance to try it out. While I am absolutely incapable of curling my hair, my stylist performed true magic with his ghd and my hair was perfectly curly for three days! So I have to practise, practise, practise and maybe one day I’ll be able to do the same. I’ll try!
By the way: the color of my hair got a little lighter – unfortunately you can’t really see it in the pictures because of the darkness outside (but if you know it, you notice a little difference, right?), but hopefully in the next outfit post! :)
For this occasion, I wore my new jacket by H&M Trend that instantly caught my eye and reminds me of Isabel Marant. A beautiful heavy gray jacket with a gorgeous knit pattern! I’ll wear it a lot, I’m sure, this piece is rad! I combined it with a casual dress, my comfy “Alma” booties and my little red bag (and in fact, everything I need fits into the bag!). :)

Ein Nachzügler-Outfit, das ich euch deshalb erst heute zeige, weil mein neuer → Style Council Artikel online ist. :) Das war nämlich mein Outfit auf der Messe, um die es in dem Artikel geht. Ein Teil habe ich beim Nachstylen (in Berlin hat es zeitlich mit dem Shooten nicht mehr geklappt) aber, weil ich es so noch schicker finde, ersetzt – nämlich die Stiefel. :) Auf der Messe habe ich meine Bikerboots von Zara dazu getragen, die natürlich entsprechend bequemer waren (etwa 10 Stunden ohne viel Sitzen erfordern das auch irgendwie, oder?). :)
Den Rest habe ich natürlich exakt genauso getragen, sowohl die Haare, als auch das Make-up – alles identisch. :) Und das ist definitiv ein Lieblingslook (den Pulli liebe ich ja sowieso über alles und mit den Farbtupfern in Rot als Tasche und Lippenstift, macht das Schwarz-Weiß-Outfit doch wirklich was her!).
I’m showing you this outfit from January a little bit late as this was my outfit at the fair in Berlin – and that’s what → my latest Style Council article is about. :) When I recreated this outfit for the shooting at home (unfortunately, we didn’t have enough time for pictures in Berlin), I replaced the boots (because I think that these Vic Matié beauties look much better with the rest). :) At the fair, I was wearing my biker boots by Zara, which are definitely much more comfortable (and about 10 hours without sitting require that, right?). :)
The rest is exactly what I wore back then, as well as my hair and the make-up – everything’s identical. :) And this is definitely one of my favorite looks (I adore this sweater and combined with some color splashes in red with the bag and the lipstick, it’s a great black-and-white look!).
